I will definitely stay at Westin Mission Hills when I'm in the Palm Springs area. Our overnight stay was relaxing and exactly what I needed. The resort had all the amenities we wanted. The golf course at the resort is another incentive to stay in the future.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Ok, but didn't knock our socks off."
The weather was good, the room was a strange pentagonal shape, the exercise room was small, no game room. Kitchenette was good. The rule for the hot tub said no one under 16 allowed with parent or guardian. This rule is blatantly being broken. KIDS ARE USING THE HOT TUB WITHOUT SUPERVISION!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Hotel (But Check-In and Out Far From Ideal)"
Great hotel in all aspects but the only less-than-ideal scenarios were check-in and check-out . We went to the main hotel registration, where a curbside attendant told us we need to check into the Villas area about 1/3 of a mile away at another smaller entrance. We pulled into that Villas area that is guard-gated. Upon pulling up, there was no security […] guard present. No window slid open. No intercom voice. Simply a closed gate without instruction. If he was there, he was not attentive. So we reversed and drove back to the main hotel registration, and were told to go back yet again to the Villas area and that the security guard would be called. (Was he napping? watching TV?). Upon arrival, he did in fact slide his window open and direct us to check-in. His TV was on. I don't think he saw us the first time. The back-and-forth was frustrating. I later called the front desk for a late check-out. Evidently 10 am is the check-out time! Wow. No sleeping in. Timeshare-heavy, the Villas require this on Fridays so their weekly guests can check-in. It was not fun for us to be rushed Friday morning. This hotel is great, but it was great on the hotel's terms.
