Not bad for the price. It's not a good neighborhood for walking(I don't drive) butthere's continental breakfast in the main building and a Bob Evan's across the parking lot. I'll stay there again next time I visit family in the area.

The Hotel was definitely rough around the edges!!! Our room had two holes in the back of the bathroom door; the toilet seat was cracked; the bathroom floor hadn't been swept and the carpeting wasn't the best in the room!! The beds were okay even though they had no bedspread on them. At first I wasn't sure if they had any blankets on them since all you […] saw where the sheets, but the blanket was in-between the sheets, which turned out to be fine. There were enough towels for us for the next morning, so that part was fine also. The Continental breakfast the next monrning wasn't quite what we expected to find, so we went next door to the Bob Evans to have breakfast. We only needed the room overnight because we were going to a wedding just down the street from the Hotel, so only because of that did we stay!! I will say that the bar soaps that they had in the room were great and the heater was wonderful, too!! It kept the temperature just right the whole time we were there!! But the over all upkeep and cleanliness needed alot of work at this Hotel!! It was the worst one we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in quite a few during our travels in our 39 years of marriage!! This Travelodge served my needs completely. It was reasonably clean, quiet, and safe, and the staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. A few things need fixing though. I had been to that Travel Lodge before and I must say that things have changed for the worse. The first room I went into was dirty the carpet was worn to the point where we say the threads. Folks this hotel is what it is inexpensive. The room was ok I had a second floor non smoking room It did not smell bad, just very worn. This place was horrible. The place probably hasn't been upgraded since the 1980's. I got two rooms and they actually gave me a room without beds. NO BEDS. Bed spread was stained and the place smelled. When I checked in, I had to ask for 2 keys to the rooms and you would of thought I was asking him him for his first born. TV remote would not work at all so we called the front desk. Maintenance came right up and couldn't get it to work so they got another one and supposedly reprogrammed it so it worked when they left. Five minutes later the batteries apparently were no good so we just got up to change channels and volume manually from then on.

Bed was so lumpy I took a picture because no one would believe it without seeing it. Room had an unpleasant and musty smell, housekeeping left a broom in the room, some items (e.g., alarm clock and tv remote) looked as though they had not been cleaned in 6 months. I chose this hotel since the rating was 3.7....I don't know how. The carpet was filthy, needed to be stretched, the corners were not vacuumed, the shower had midew. I have spent 45 nights in hotels this year. I normally overlook small wear issues. This hotel was one of the 3 worse I've ever stayed at in my life!

Ok, I've stayed at a travelodge and it was NOTHING like this place...run down, our key didnt work, neighbors key didnt work, smelled like bleach/chlorine was poured all over the place. Just a general creepy place. I guess that means they cleaned, but I didnt feel comfortable staying there being a single female and had my little girl with me. I mean […] the super 8 down the road was cheaper and I'm sure in WAAAAY better condition! Dont try and save a buck for this joint! I dont know how it got 3 stars I've stayed at a travelodge that was GREAT. So not all like this, I wouldnt stay again...not worth saving 10 bucks. I was very pleased with our stay overall. The staff were all very nice. While the room was dated, it was clean and there were basic toiletries available, which i did not expect for the price! :) The pool was not open at the time (we were there 2/25-2/28), but it did look nice. We (myself, husband, and 2 […] girls, 11 & 7# were traveling to Cleveland to visit a Michael Symons restaurant #Lola's-Mmmmm#, We also visited the Christmas Story House #from the movie-very cool), Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Botanical Gardens, and a few other restaurants. We had a great time, and this hotel was perfect for our needs-basic and cheap :). It was close to downtown, about 20 mins by highway, and it was easy to get around. This place was a delima to me. The room itself was comfortable but the staff was very inefficient. I calle to request a microwave as the hotels.com website stated to do and was told that only the suites in the hotel had microwaves. I thought I had been mistaken about what the site said so I looked it up again and saw that it did say that refrigerators […] and microwaves were available on request. This tells me that they never had any to begin with and I was there for 5 nights and they never came up with one with repeated requests. Second was that I had to ask two times to get a light bulb changed in the room over the desk so I could work. When they finally changed the bulb they left the half inch of dust that had accumulated all over the desk. Third. On two occasions they failed to leave coffee or even rince out the coffee pot. Fourth, I had to ask for a replacement roll of TP. I will only stay here again if I am only staying one night while on the road and if there are no other rooms in the area available. Read more

Growing up in the area I was shocked at the stature of this hotel. Never came to make beds or give clean towels. The beds all leaned like they were on stilts on one side. The parking lot was really bad. You had to watch for big (4' potholes where there drains were located in the middle of the two driveways that we used.
