San Pedro Inn & Suites

Family of 7 (4 adults, 3 children ages 4-9) pleasantly surprised with adjoining rooms that together provided a "home" feel. This "suite" was separate & across from main hotel in building with one other suite (4 rooms total in building). The keycards were inconsistently functional unfortunately. Rooms were clean & quiet. One toilet was constantly dysfunctional- […] we were lucky to have a second room/toilet. Staff were friendly & quick to respond to reports about toilet & keycards. Surrounding area to hotel was quiet over nights (we were gone during the day). Continental breakfast was free daily, and there was a wide variety of choices. Breakfast was buffet style, it was unlimited, and constantly replinished. We covered a lot of distance during our visit- location of hotel was easy to/from highway. The hotel is in the final stages of renovation, but the place will look great when finished and when the bar and resturant opens, it will be even better. Very close to the places in San Pedro that we visited.

Overall it was comfortable, clean and affordable. However, just a little unhappy with the lobby host hiding behind their desk. They should be able to great us and make us feel welcome. My three kids were wondering if there was ever anyone behind the desk ;-) Happy with my stay. Will definitely stay there again if i get a good deal.

Very convent to World terminal. The shuttle they have is very convenient and safe. The room itself was wonderful and very rich. Even with construction going on, it was quite and very restful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel still under construction. No hot coffee in lobby area, no one knew how to turn on lights in lobby. First room we went in was smoked in. They changed our room then it had no heat or AC. We were given a space heater, but it was not comfortable.

We stayed at the San Pedro Inn & Suites the night before catching a Disney Cruise to the Mexican Riviera. The hotel was in a very convenient location (.98 miles from World Cruise Center); however the neighborhood was questionable. There was a good Hawaiian BBQ drive in and a 7-Eleven across the street though. Continental breakfast was actually really […] good since they had a waffle maker. There were a lot of smiling faces from the service staff; and the room was clean and comfortable. They were obviously in the middle of a renovation and the smell of fresh paint was everywhere. The bathrooms were surprisingly modern and the room itself was spacious. All in all, I was very happy with the hotel; although I'm not sure that I would have any reason to stay there unless I was catching a cruise and needing a place to sleep the day before. Read more

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, rooms spacious and comfortable. The only issue was the AC in the room, it iced up and got noisy. Never found the exercise room that was supposedly on the 3rd floor. The location in San Pedro is close to Long Beach (south) and Redondo - and Manhattan Beach (north), which are nice places. Manhattan Beach can win in a competition with Venice Beach. Staff that 'welcomed' us was rude. Tired from a day at Disneyland we accepted the worn out, dirty room but would have normally asked for something better. Bouncy beds. Extremely dated. Broken door lock. Torn wallpaper and old dirty paint. Bathroom was reasonably clean and water pressure / temp was good. Internet was useless There were renovation signs […] in the elevator but no obvious signs of construction. Best western sign in lobby, so maybe they are taking it over. I requested towels and did not get them until I asked again the next morning. Hard to enjoy pool and bathing without towels. Got stuck in elevator and called the front desk who told me how to reset the elevator-thankful for cell phone.

When we arrived I was very pleased with the feel and decor of the hotel. Our room was clean the breakfast was fine and it was very easy to find. The only con with the room was theres no microwave but that wasnt a big deal they had one downstairs you could use. The only thing bad I would say about my stay was the service. When we went to check in the […] girl was looking somthing up and had the phone on hold. When she didnt look up I said Hello. She glanced up then help one finger up to me and got back on the phone. When her call was over she asked for my credit card and Id. She never said Hello or welcome. The next morning when we came down to eat I asked for a band aid for my foot from thw front desk and was told they didnt have any witch was ok but I found it odd they would not have any first aid stuff there. I used to work at a hotel and we always kept those items just in case. When we checked out again no Hello from the counter. I handed him the keys and waited for a recipt of some sort. This is a pretty old place, but was clean, and in the process of becoming a Best Western. Victorian style was nice... It distracted away from the old building and furniture. The breakfast was fine... Waffle maker, cereal, hard boiled eggs, mini muffins, OJ, coffee. The restaurant/ bar area aren't being leased right now, so breakfast seating was tight. […] The beds were nice and soft, room was very spacious... Plenty of room for our 2 kids to run around. Only complaint was that we were there 3 nights and the housekeeping was so overworked that they never got a chance to clean our room. .. They would come at 5 or 6 pm and we would just ask for new towels since we were already in the room. Pool was ok, but not heated, so it was too cold to swim in, which made my daughters sad. We sat in the hot tub for a while. Parking was secure. Overall, we liked that it was located so close to Cabrillo Beach and Long Beach! BTW, check out Truvys BBQ. While the hotel was a beautiful with all of the antique furniture and such, but it smelled very strong of cigarette smoke to me, we are non smokers, and the elevator quit on us while we were in it, and it took almost 15 minutes for someone to help us out. I had to call three times to the front desk from the elevator and I was getting extremely frustrated […] not to mentioned scared! House keeping didn't get to our room until 4PM......otherwise hotel not bad for the $ The continental breakfast was great, dining room and bar set up beautifully but not in service. I was very disappointed. When we booked this the rating was a 4 star Hotel. It was far from that. It also stated that there was a Continential Breakfast: hard boiled eggs and boxed cereal, you had to ask for coffee. Very disappointing.

New ownership. trying very hard to please their guests, however, the location of this hotel is not as we expected, despite that the interior is being renovated and look s good. Hôtel propre et personnel de qualité. A 35 min (sans embouteillage !) d'Hollywood en voiture. Nombreux petits restaurants à proximité. Privilégier cependant une chambre ne donnant pas sur la rue car un peu plus bruyant. Petit déjeuner tout à fait correct. Satisfaits de nos 3 nuits passées dans cet hôtel.
