Location.
Situated near the beach in the heart of Montevideo, Sur is close to Plaza Cagancha, Museo del Gaucho, and Palacio Salvo. Also nearby are Museo de la Historia del Arte de Montevideo and Plaza Independencia.
Hotel Features.
In addition to tour/ticket assistance and 24-hour room service, Sur features dry cleaning/laundry services. Complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is available in public areas and an Internet point is located on site. For a surcharge, guests have access to a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours).
Guestrooms.
The 19 air-conditioned guestrooms at Sur include minibars and safes. Beds have pillowtop mattresses and signature bedding. Guests can use the in-room complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access. Rooms are equipped with LCD TVs with cable channels. Bathrooms offer rainfall showerheads, bidets, and hair dryers. Additional amenities include windows that open and clock radios. In addition, a turndown service is offered nightly, housekeeping is available daily, and amenities available on request include wake-up calls. Renovation of all guestrooms was completed in January 2011.

"Um bom hotel"
O hotel está bem localizado próximo do centro da cidade. Tivemos que trocar um dos quartos do tipo superior para standard, mas o hotel resolveu tudo para mim. Hotel bem locallizado, reformado, boas instalações, wifi grátis, quarto triplo superior para 3 pessoas é pequeno, café da manhã deveria estar incluído no preço da diária, não tem estacionamento próprio e vale a pena andar de taxi. Recomendo.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
