The hotel is located in Nisantasi, a prime residential and shopping area with lively restaurants and cafes. The property is an old building that served as the Italian ambassador's residence during Ottoman times. Our stay would have been generally pleasant had it not been for a sewer smell which we detected in the lobby and in our room. The excellent staff at the Park Hyatt Istanbul made our stay a memorable one! We had many special requests which were granted without hesitation. The front desk staff and managers were very accommodating when we asked for a VERY late check out due to our son's napping schedule. When we had trouble with the smoke alarm in our room and were interrupted […] during the night by hotel staff, we were graciously compensated with free breakfast for the rest of our stay. The food at breakfast and in the "Prime" restaurant were of the highest quality. We had selected this hotel over the Grand Hyatt based on the reviews and are happy to say that the hotel and its staff lived up to our expectations. Its very secluded, bad view from the room, - the hotel had not even 30% occupancy in Eid holiday period. Swimming POOL is a swimming PIL... very tiny.... Its ok for a honey moon couple who will not ever open thier doors or windows....

This hotel is outside of the main tourist area, but very close to high end shopping and there are many nice cafes and restaurants nearby. It is a short downhill walk to the tram which takes you to the Sutanahmet area in about 20 minutes. The staff were excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Très bel hôtel moderne assez intimiste. Chambres magnifiques spacieuses et superbement décorées et équipées. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Seul bémol, petit déjeuner non compris et cher mais quelques cafés aux alentours. Situé dans un quartier très résidentiel (magnifiques boutiques de luxe cotoient enseignes plus abordables), nombreux restaurants […] très sympas pour déjeuner et dîner.
