"Lots of potential - poor management policies..."
The room was really more like a 1 BR apt..spacious, views to die for, great bath. Food buffets were awesome. Staff for the most part were lovely and professional. Two issues, which to me were MAJOR was that management made the decision to begin renovation in the next room two days after I arrived. Most disturbing and inconsiderate for me. After two […] days of banging and phone calls I had to now pack up all of my belongings and be moved to another roon - the last thing one wants to be doing after just getting settled in. The hotel should have halted construction until I was to leave or have never put me in that room in the first place. The next issue was that I was denied access to The Lounge's happy hour because of my "unfashionable shoes"...Very upsetting to me. A ridiculous move on their part. Their 'dress code' is not well defined, clear, or modern. Also, I had worn similar comfort shoes for days prior and was not denied. It was a subjective and arbitrary decision and really changed the overall experience for me. Food and Beverage Manager backtracked and said it was a language issue but the damage, for me, had been done. I couldn't wait to leave Lebua. Not a 5 star experience for me at all.
Genuine Expedia guest review
