"Feeling cheated with their pictures"
It's 35mins from Subarnabhumi Airport. It is sooo far from the Main City, yes it is in Sukhumvit but we have a hard time taking a taxi that will take us back to the hotel from the main bangkok district where we have our shopping spree. We felt cheated when we booked to this hotel as we browsed through their website and everything looks perfect on their […] pictures but when we got there... DISAPPOINTED! It looks like their website pictures alright but dated 20years ago!!! The hotel is not properly updated and is currently having dilapidated walls, my bf can even touch the ceiling standing feet on the floor and reaching up and he's only 5'7" . The window is a teeeny bit 2x2' size. The tv is the same size as an iPad. The corridor smells like what an old building would smell like. the carpets are stained and needs to be replaced. There is only 1 service elevator in a 5 level building. We can hear people coming and going outside. They have a small tv, 2 pillows + 1 extra, their bed sheets are torn, ours have holes in it. They have a small toilet and a shower that you cannot stop the heater from heating... it's hotter than my coffee! They have 2 towels, thank god its clean.. or is it???.... "For the price, okay just to overnight"
If you have to just overnight and nothing else ii is okay if you cannot find another Hotel. Extreemely bad breakfast, only one type of bread, no cheese and just some rice disches absolutely not eating by Western people. Shower water took 3 to 4 minutes to get heated. "Nicht zu frieden"
Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt nicht zufriedenstellend. Handtücher gab es keine, auch bei Reklamtion wurde uns mitgeteilt, wir hätten Badetücher, das reiche. Diese hatten aber nach der wohl tausendsten Wäsche Gebrauchsspuren und Löcher. Toilettenpapier wurde nur nach Reklamation aufgefüllt. Das sogenannte Superieur-Zimmer war eine Zumutung, da es zum […] Nachbarzimmer mit einer dünnen Sperrholztür getrennt war, so dass auf Grund der nächtlichen Parties bei Nachbarn an Schlaf nicht zu denken war. Auch hier verliefen Reklamationen zwar immer mit einem freundlichen Lächeln, aber ohne Besserung. Die individuell regelbare Klimaanlage konnte lediglich ein- oder ausgeschaltet werden, da der Temperaturregler keinerlei Reaktion zeigte. Reklamationen beim Service zeigten auch kein Ergebnis. Safe wurde uns auch erst nach Reklamtion,zur Verfügung gestellt.Insgesamt entspricht die Realität nicht den Webseitendarstellungen. Die Umgebung des in die Jahre gekommenen Hotels ist durch Schmutz und Baustellen gekennzeichnet.Landestypische Einschränkungen sind uns geläufig, aber so was ist inakzeptabel. Wir haben uns sogar für drei Tage in einem anderen Hotel eingemietet, um wenigstens etwas Urlaubsfreude zu retten. "Be aware of your stuff"
Everything was not that bad. But there is one thing you should keep on your mind. Do not leave your valuable stuff especially your money or make sure your safety box is secure otherwise that would be gone. Me? I lost almost 200$ and I strongly suspect the staff of hotel. "Es gibt bestimmt was besseres"
Eigentlich wolte ich mit einem Bekannten Reisen. Durch Krankheit konnte dieser nicht mitfahren. Gebucht war also ein Doppelzimmer, als Einzelzimmer dann genutzt. Als Doppelzimmer bestimmt zu klein. Die Helligkeit des Zimmers lies zu wünschen übrig, Fenster hatte ca. einen halben Quadratmeter. Zimmer erschien abgewohnt, aber sauber. Frühstück war soweit […] ok.
