Stayed at the Aspen Suites on a weeknight in August 2011. The hotel wasn't full so the staff kindly bumped me up to an executive suite free of charge. Overall the hotel was great. Incredible value for money (don't spend the extra for breakfast, it's not great), rooms were large and clean, and gym was OK but no aircon control to be able to turn it on! Never used the pool as it was always in the shade and overlooked by a building site. Looks nice though but I wouldn't stay here if the pool is one of […] the main reasons. Location was pretty good. A short cut gets you to Soi 4 pretty easily (if overweight western men perving over thai girls if your thing) and a short BTS ride or taxi ride to Soi 11 and 14 which are very fun. This is a lovely hotel at the end of Soi 2 on Sukhumvit, the quietest Soi. A peaceful place with dedicated staff and family atmosphere, free internet in the room. "A home - not a hotel"
Very pleased. Note from the the name that it's "Suites" - it's more a serviced appartment than a simple hotel room. And for that, the service is excellent! And the room is simply great for people who are mainly staying for work - full kitchenette, workplace, big bathroom, great cabinets, TV/hifi. Very good cleaning, but the room shows a little wear, […] including the almost inevitable moldy seals on the bathtub, water pressure somewhat low. I didn't mind. 計５日間滞在しました。 チェックインした部屋がランクダウンデラックスをオーダーしたのにスーペリアに通された・・しかも通された部屋のバスルームの換気扇の故障で部屋内湿気だらけ。 案内した従業員に換気扇の修理を依頼したところ、フロント従業員がすっ飛んできて部屋チェンジ（デラックスに）信じられないくらいのスピードだった（苦笑）。 んでもって、念のため部屋内の確認をしたところ備え付けられていなくてはいけないアメニティのバスローブ、スリッパが無いのでまたフロントにtel？？また即対応。 我々旅行者にとって１番重要なセーフティboxが故障、またまたフロントにtelチャンが直にきて修理すること３０分、結局内部モーターの不具合でモーター交換だが、手持ち無しとの事で翌朝修理を約束した。 ２日目は朝か […] ら外出していたので、夕刻帰室早速セーフティboxを使うべく見たところ修理の形跡があったので使用したところまたロックしない！！ またまたまたフロントにtelして修理依頼をしたら５分で行きます！！と言ったきり最終日まで来なかった。 自分自身をセーフティboxにして以降は凌いだ。 シャワーのお湯はチョロチョロ、まっ、タイだし安価なホテルだし許容範囲ですかね、朝食はそこそこ、従業員もそこそこ、可も無く・・可は無く不可も無くって感じです。 ホテルサービスのトゥク×２は近隣の他ホテルのものは頻繁にキビキビと稼動していましたが、同ホテルのものは実にマッタリと、また２名いる〈多分？）運転手のうち１名はお客様よりお話し（従業員との雑談）が大事な様で面倒くさそうに、だるそうに運転していました。 しかたないので、ホテルから大通りまでは利用しましたが、帰りはbtsのnana駅から毎回タクシーを利用しました（チップ込みで４０バーツでした）。 ただ、今後ご利用の日本人の方々のために、それぞれにチップは弾んできました。 Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
