I am a frequent business traveller but stayed here for a personal trip with my family. The service was excellent as was the physical condition of the hotel. The daily breakfast buffet was a highlight with the whole family. If traveling with family be aware that it is very close to an adult oriented neighborhood. All in all a very good experience.

A very nice hotel with great amenities. A good value for what we paid. The staff was pleasant and organized. The breakfast buffet was awesome. It's only a few blocks away from an above ground train station. We were able to access most of our itinerary using that train system. Otherwise, the concierge would hail us a cab. With traffic, it was about […] 40 min away from Suvarnabhumi Airport. There is also a small mall a few blocks away with ATMs, general stores & Starbucks for those who need their caffeine fix. Hotel is located in a very convenient spot, just minutes walk from the BTS train. Food and shopping places are abundant. Hotel staff was very friendly. MAJESTIC GRANDE HOTEL, BANGKOK We had never been to Bangkok and selected the Majestic from a list of reccomended hotels in our travel guide books. Bangkok was the end port in our cruise that started in Beijing and we were in the Peninsula for five days and loved it. We felt the Majestic could never live up to the service of the Peninsula but happily, […] we were wrong and we fell in love with the Majestic Grande.. It was a good size room, about 30’ x 18’ including the bathroom. The floors were impressive being made of granate with teak wood inserts and teak trim. There was a large window with a panoramic view of Bangkok. The sliding door wardrobe was adaquite for out 4 large pieces of luggageand contained a safe. The room held a desk and chair, an overstuffed chair and ottoman, an occasional table and chest holding a 32’ TV. There was also a refrigerator. I have to commend the entire staff for the service they provided, everyone spoke English and were knowledgable about the attractions of Bangkok. While the hotel is a good distance from the river and the Presidental Palace, it is in an area of several other international hotels and cabs are very inexpensive in Bangkok. There was a shopping center a block away and the area appeared safe when we walked the streets. I’d reccoment the Majestic to anyone coming to Bangkok and at lest then half the price of The Peninsula, it’s a wonderful bargan. Read more

This was one block from a JW MARRIOT yet on the block directly across the street, a number of bars, a bit seedy. One long block from the train station. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the breakfast buffet was fresh and ample. Filled me up until dinner. Free wi-fi in the room. I would definitely stay here again, as well as recommend it.

Well located near Nana BTS, the facility is in excellent shape, the staff are all pleasant and efficient. An excellent value. Only possible minuses are that it lacks some of the extra plushness of some 4 & 5 star places - no glamourous lobby, pool is rather small. But if these are not a big deal for you, then the hotel is excellent.

This is a very comfortable hotel that is very reasonably priced. It's within walking distance of the Sky Train. The neighborhood isn't bad. We had no problems at all and you're within a block of a major street. My wife's comment was that we haven't stayed in many places this nice for such a price. Overall a good hotel, a short walk from Sukhumvit, BTS stations and the Nana plaza. Breakfast was good. Fitness center was well-equipped. The only negative I have about the hotel is the pool is on the wrong side of the building, so it's basically in the shade most of the day.

Very comfortable hotel located in the heart of the action in Soi 2. Close to nightlife, top eateries and the skyway. Hotel is quite good vaue for money with full bathroom, and has a great breakfast spread. Shame the band in the restraunt is not on contract at present as this was a real higlight in the past and custom seems to notice.

It is a clean with many good features, however, they only have 2 elevators.waisted too much time waiting to catach an elevator on the way up and down. very busy place too many people checking in and out all the time. Staff were helpfull and nice.

We love this hotel. Our first stay at the Majestic Grande three years ago was a chance selection arranged by a local travel service, but we actively chose this hotel for our return trip. The staff is gracious above and beyond expectations, and the breakfast spread is memorable. We like the location for its proximity to the action of the Suhkumvit area […] and the Sky Train. Though only a very short walk from the action, the hotel is sufficiently removed to offer a real feeling of retreat. Can't think of a single reason that we would NOT recommend the Majestic Grande. We stayed here for 2 nights, during 5 day stay in Bangkok. My wife and I wanted to go upscale and relax at a nice place, so we looked up hotels in Expedia and this one appeared very nice and the price seemed very appealing, given the 4.5 star rating of the hotel. in all fairness, the hotel is probably more like 3.5 star worthy. It is nice, nothing […] to complain about, but the rooms are pretty compact, small, and old. Our first room smelled very bad and we were moved to another one that was better, but the bathroom ventilation leaked smoke from other rooms into ours (ours were non-smoking). We paid expecting a 4.5 star hotel but got probably a Best Western hotel level satistaction. Lastly, the location is something to be noted. You can walk to Nana station within 10 mins, which is convinient, but watch out, this area is Red light district! Girls everywhere standing on the street side by dinner time. Not a place you want to stay with a kids or for a family getaway. It might be interesting if you wanted to see these things, but for us, it was the wrong choice. The swimming pool is small and more like a huge hottub, crammed next to the restaraunt (breakfast area). Not a lot of privacy, so you won't feel comfortable soaking up the sun there. The gym was very nice though. overall, this hotel is okay, just dont overpay like we did and do not expect 4.5 star quality. Read more

We reached earlier at 0860AM approxim. however it did not take more than 15 minutes and wow we are in the rooms, they were so cooperative, the location was so great, staff are so great and welling to help, breakfast was great and delecious, internet for personal use was provided, business center will help for any documentation, faxing, or print out, […] but u got to pay for it. Taxi are always available outside the hotel, and u can have one of them with u all the time. Arabic or Mediterranian food may needs to be improved. Read more

Very nice hotel and great value for money. A good 4 star hotel. Only problem was the constant smell of adhesive in my room from the floors above/below being refurbed! Would definitely stay there again, although if there's building noise or a smell in the room next time, I would ask to change the room asap instead of hoping it would soon go away, which […] it didn't this time. One other annoyance was the amount of taxis that hang around outside the hotel. Every time you leave the hotel you have to run a gauntlet of drivers offering you their services.
