Stay at Dream was well worth the price I paid. The only negative thing was that when I arrived on my floor it smelled like the rugs were flooded and one receptionist did not understand English well.

I stayed here only one night. Its a bit off the beaten path (5 minute walk to the street) but they have a free shuttle to the Skytrain that runs 8-8. The hotel itself has a spa (a bit expensive) and a cool rooftop pool.

Nice hotel, Great menu for room service. Did not like the shower. With the door closed it sounds like you are in a bunker.....how is it possible to have an echo in a three by five area???? Other than that this hotel is definately worth the money

I always stay at Dream, love the comfortable bed, good breakfast and fab location for restaurants/bars/metro. I stopped giving it 5* as on the last night one of the front desk staff was quite rude and abrupt about a simple polite request for a plug adaptor. Perhaps he was having a bad day...

Cleanliness of room/hotel: Great. Housekeeping on top of things. Quality of service: Good service, positive staff who try to get to know you. Hotel amenities: Had breakfast here, did not visit spa, pool or fitness room, but they are available. (somewhat annoying that pool + training centre are in the other building. Crossing the street in beach wear […] might seem a bit odd). Hotel location: Off the Sukhumvit, the "main road" in the heart of Bangkok. 10 minute walk to skytrain and metro stations, but just jump in a taxi and demand a meter starting at 35 THB and you can go anywhere for pennies. On a final note, demand that staff charge you in THB, and not your local currency, as they will make money off the poor currency rate. Read more

Comfortable hotel within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and public transport (Asoke BTS and Sukhumvit MRT). The included breakfast was good with a decent variety of options. Oddly, the staff completely ignored me whilst I waited to be seated when I went down one morning without my boyfriend. I noticed they did it to another single woman […] waiting to be seated. Then the staff member started laughing hysterically when I told her I was alone. A bit bizarre really... The room (deluxe) was spacious and comfortable with an air conditioner that could actually keep up with the warm climate. Nice but small rooftop pool although the bar prices were astronomical compared to nearby bars. The hotel isn't really near any scenic sites, but it's easy to take the Skytrain down to central pier for access to the ferry which drops you off at the major sites along the river. Service was attentive but we actually had better service at several other cheaper hotels around Thailand and Cambodia. Read more

Overall this is a great place to stay for anyone wanting to be close to everything in Thailand. The hotel is geared more towards the young however I saw many families there that would be comfortable. I stayed in Dream Hotel Bangkok for 3 nights. It was a pretty good and cozy hotel. The room is very clean and comfortable apart from the fact that it's a small room with space just enough for 2 people. The bed was nice and the condition of the hotel is pretty well maintained. The receptionist and the staff of the hotel are really nice and friendly. […] The pictures provided on this website as far as I am concern is not faked. It is basically how the room is like. The location of the hotel is just around 100m away from one of the BTS skytrain station (ASOK station) and it's 3 stations away (Siam Station) from Siam Paragon, Central World and another additional station (National Stadium Station) for MBK. The fare for the train is pretty cheap, which is around $2 to go to Siam station and around $3 to go to National Stadium station. Another alternative way to go to the major shopping mall (Siam Paragon, Central World and MBK) will be by using the TUK TUK (you can check it out on google to see what it is-it is basically like a trishaw just that it's a modified version of trishaw and it's better). However, the fare for TUK TUK ranges from $1 to $5. It can fit the most 4 people in it. Last but not least is by using the cab. The cab fare is pretty cheap, which is around $3 to $8 to go to town. However, it depends on the cab driver and it will be better to get help from the hotel's staff as they can help you to get cheaper price for the cab. The hotel was in a quiet location off busy Sukumvit Road, handy to SkyTrain & other transport, night stalls, and good eating places. Hotel staff were very helpful (especially one of the young men (door man/bags) who gave us good info about places to go and how to get there. Hotellet ligger tæt på offentlig transport og tæt på gode shopping muligheder. Gademaden og restauranter i nærheden er også udemærkede dog en del dyrere end resten af Bangkok. Morgenmaden var af buffet slagsen, dog rigtig god. Sengen var god at sove i ikke for hård eller for blød, eneste minus var noget meget år 2000 agtigt blåt lys under sengen. Hotellet […] gav os mulighed for at opbevare vores kufferter efter vi var checket ud (vores fly hjemad gik først sent) og vi fik lov til at gå i bad efter en hel shoppingdag i Bangkok.
