Located on the west coast, Patong Beach is the most popular beach in Phuket. This two-kilometre-long beach offers everything from water sports and massages to food and drinks. The nightlife selection is infinite, including the famous Soi Bangla with its numerous bars, neon lights, and night clubs; dining along cliff-side restaurants with views of the coast, or at the two Thai food courts on Rat-U-Thit Road. The beach transforms into a night bazaar nightly, packed with colourful stalls selling beach wears and leather goods.

This hotel is close to beach and easy walking distance to Jungceylon Shopping Centre (15 - 20 min walk), but that is where the positives ended for my partner and I. Photos appearing on TripAdvisor and else where must have been taken some time ago (and be of deluxe rooms only) because the room we stayed in could only kindly be described as 'shabby'. The […] resortel is fairly quiet at night, but you will hear everyone and everything (especially the cleaning staff banging and dragging things around) at silly o'clock in the morning. The hotel/motel is also currently surrounded by construction on most sides. The included breakfast is an extremely average affair compared to the hospitality we have experienced elsewhere in Phuket and Bangkok in similarly priced hotels, and after the first day we did not bother again. Everything costs extra from overpriced Wifi to guest service phone calls, and our room was already occupied by large (well-fed) mosquitoes when we arrived; and despite chasing them out daily, they were back to roost every night. With the large amount of accommodation available in Patong, I am certain you can do better for the price elsewhere, and would strongly recommend that you consider other options.
