This is a great place to stay for a night or two. I was very happy with everything except that they need to work on their maintenance a bit more... The shower did not drain well at all, the shower head was not a good one and kept moving when the pressure kept going up and down, there was no full body mirror, only one in the bathroom and the lighting […] isn't the best. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff was very friendly. There is a nice part to it, but obviously you have to pay more to stay there. For the price we paid for the room, it was very nice, clean and comfortable. The price for an extra bed is a little high but everything else was great. Great ocean view from my room. I would have liked a room with a balcony but it was still a great view. "Loved The Bliss"
The Bliss was great and perfect for all our needs. It is far enough away from the real busy part of Patong to allow a relaxing stay. The airconditioning was fantastic and the cleanliness of the room was 100%. Out toilet did block a couple of times but was fixed quickly both times, there was also no hot water one morning again this was rectified immediately […] and really no hot water is not really a problem as cool showers are necessary to get relief from Patong's heat. Our plunge pool was perfect for us and gave us more freedom for whenever we wanted a dip. The hotel site directly opposite the beach is also perfect and views "to die for". We had some really lovely meals and cocktails from the Cafe and would also recommend going there esp for a refreshing lunch. We were at this hotel for 12 nights. We had a wonderful time. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Would do anything for you english was not a problem.Breakfast was very nice with everything prepared fresh. Depending on your budget we would recommend the new part of the hotel which are the suites. The beds are very firm but they do not apologise for that as they are chirporactic and we never had a sore back the entire time. You can request a softener for the mattress. Apparently they are going to update the older part of the hotel in the not too distant future. The hotel is located just across from the beach although there are two pools at the hotel.
