Deevana Patong Resort & Spa

First of all there is no free Internet as it is written. They told me that their passwords have finish and they asked me to use the business corner that has extra charge. Generally the staff always asked for money. The room is not so nice like in the picture. I was lucky that I booked just for one day so the next day i changed hotel.

What an awesome stay! It was cheaper than any other hotel that I've stayed in, in Patong but at least 2X better. The staff are OK (you will get mixed bags everywhere you go) and the hotel itself is gorgeous! Hotel's location is good. BUT hotel's service's too bad. I am working in hotel industry also, so basicly I know what they can do to reach guest's saticfation as 3-Star hotel can do but they didnt want to do anything. I couldnt stand the room with the west shine, I did request change room, the only one thing they could do for me is saying " we're fully". […] I spent 3 day in this hotel , I ask them inform me if they had room for us to change, they refused and told me that I had to come back to ask them. wow! what kind of service???? The hotel is very convenient and good view within hotel. You can walk about 10-15 mins to reach the Patong beach or shopping center. At night the seafood stall is opposite to the hotel. We stayed at the Deevana at the beginning and end of our month in Thailand. It was like coming home when we returned for the last week. The hotel is set on 12 acres and as such is a small haven in the middle of the havoc of Patong Beach :) Staff are exceptionally friendly, the rooms are more than adequate (we stayed in the basic garden rooms), the grounds […] and pool areas are great. The hotel was fine. Very clean and a nice outdoor pool. It is about a 2 minute walk away from the main road and the rooms are set behind the main lobby which meant that you could get a quiet nights sleep away from the busy night life (except from the 1 night where the couple next door were arguing!)

Can't recommend. I stayed in the standard room, there are about 15 of them surrounding one of the pools motel style. The rooms were huge, a big bedroom with ensuite plus a sitting room of the same size and a kitchenette. Very little furniture in them - cheap and chipped desk, chair, table and bed. Completely lacking any charm or character. The wifi […] was non-existent in the room so you have to sit around the lobby to access internet. About 5 to 10 minutes walk to the beach, but plenty of restaurant/bar/tuktuk/massage/T shirt shirt places just outside (but being down a side street it was quiet). The room was clean and the staff friendly, but this is Thailand and almost every hotel is clean and friendly. There are places in Phuket for about the same money with much more tasteful rooms and much nicer feel (eg Club Bamboo, which I have also reviewed). You can do better. Read more

My wife and i stayed at Deevana Patong Spa and Resort recently. We arrived about 7pm and were pleasently surprised at the Hotel's apperance it was well kept and clean. I took my family to Phuket and chose this hotel as I found that MakeMyTrip , a reputed online tour operator in India has marked this as their default accommodation in Phuket for standard package. The only dampener was that in our final night of stay, our ground floor room (all at ground level at garden wing) went flooded due to an extremely heavy rain. The water stayed in the room until the rain stopped in the morning. This is the second time I have stayed at the Deevana and like the first time I give it my complete thumbs up. The breakfast every morning had a huge selection and was fresh and tasty. The staff in general where helpful and friendly. There is a great little coffee shop selling a nice coffee and yummy cakes. I loved Kanok Buri, the staff were really nice and we had a great time. We didn't want to leave. The resort was a bit out of the way. But you can hire a scooter from the store across the road for 250 Baht and go exploring. Also, the area is nice and peaceful.
