Our stay at BYD Lofts was wholly unpleasant. Our room was next to a construction site and was vastly overpriced for what we got. To make matters worse, when the power went out and we asked to be moved, the receptionist told us "not my problem" and that all of the rooms across the street, where the power was still on, were full. Only after continuing […] to insist on being moved did she admit that there were free rooms in the side with power. Regardless of the quality of customer service, this hotel is not on the beach, the rooms are unremarkable, and the prices are way too high. My sincere recommendation would be to avoid BYD Lofts. Apart from double booking our 2 bedroom apartment on arrival since confirmation of booking 3 months prior, I would highly recommend staying at the BYD Loft apartment. Suites were very clean and always prompt on cleanliness. Restaurant staff extremely friendly and always looking to make your stay more enjoyable where possible. Good location by being […] close enough to the beach and main roads (approx 10 minutes to bangla Road), and yet quiet enough to relax and unwind on the balconies. Spacious rooms & outdoor seating. Although double booking my room, staff provided the 3 of us with seperate rooms for the night and ensured original booking was ready for next day check in.
