"Not recommended"
The room was not clean, there was afew spots of dried blood at the side of the bed. There was apile of dust between the bed and the bedside cabinet. The walls were streaky and dirty looking. The bathroom was mouldy and had dust collecting on arcutaves. The sink leaked. No lifts. we had to walk down 40 steps then up 85 steps for breakfast every morning […] until a fellow holiday maker made us aware that the shuttle bus could takeus, that was not always available. The photos of the hotel must have been from when it was first opened. The staff at breakfast were unprofessional, they seemed to lack supervision and direction. The stairwells have not been cleaned in a long time. The evidence for this was obvious as there was many spillages and blood stains. We would not go back again and would advise others to consider the amount of hills there are, it is not suitable for the eldery or people with walking difficulties. My bad experiences with the hotel services: (1) Assistant to unlock safe-box came after calling 4 times after full 24 hours. Assistant only came after my complaint personally at the reception. Response by The Blue Marine Resort & Spa Thank you for staying with us during your holiday in Phuket. My clarification for the review is that we advertise in all channels that our location is on the elevated hillside to command panoramic seaview. This may create difficulty for in-house guests to walk uphill therefore we provides four in-house shuttle cars to send the guests to seven stations inside the resort (operates 24 hours) and easy to ask the shuttle as there are in-house phones at each station or even call from guest rooms. The guest stayed at Classic wing which is decorated in Thai Contemporary style. With the color of the wall or wooden furniture, guest may misunderstand that the room is old, however we have renovated all rooms in Classic wing since last October. Cleanliness is our major concern. We have housekeeping staff & public area cleaners working both daytime and nighttime. We did not receive any complaint from the guest during their stay regarding cleanliness therefore we were unable to respond to satisfy the guest. Also, I am not sure of the review "Slow Service" due to no complaint from the guest during staying. We offered accommodation in peaceful location with breathtaking panoramic seaview, spacious rooms and well decorated, great resort facilities and helpful staff. ホテルの規模の割には、メンテナンスの従業員数が足りないようです。 初日に、部屋内のセーフティボックスを利用しようとしたら、利用方法が見当たらず、誤ってロックしてしまいました。内線で、ロックを解除してもらおうと、オペレーターに連絡すると、「２・３分で来る」ということだったのに、一時間以上経っても来てくれなかった。 スパの予約を入れてしまったので、これ以上部屋で待てないことを伝え、スパが終わってから再度連絡を入れ、結局、夕方になってやっと対応してくれました。 この日の午後は、この件でプールサイドや、ビーチに遊びに行けなくなってしまいました。 また、翌日は、本来、１泊につき、１本フリーのミネラルウォーターが置かれるのに、置いていなかったので、それについても、連絡を入れると、「２・３分で対応 […] します。」とのことだったのに、ずっと来ないで、結局、夜に食事に行った後にようやく部屋に置かれていました。 どうも、何事にも本来のサービスを受けるのにとても待たされるイメージのホテルです。 Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
