The hotel didn't look like much from the street, but as soon as you walk up the stairs you realize it is a very nice hotel. The pool area is VERY nice, and very pleasing to the eye as well. The staff wasn't too bad, all questions I had seemed to get referred to the same woman, which was fine, but I think if she wasn't there they may have been clueless. My […] only issue was that the WiFi service doesn't work in the rooms. I was on the 5th floor, and couldn't even log into to it on my laptop, or phone. I called the front desk however, and they brought me a LAN cable to connect to the wall. So it really wasn't an issue but is something I would have liked to know to expect in advance. Great hotel - large rooms, convenient to everything/place. There is however a shack behind the hotel. Not a pleasant view from the hotel balcony. This may also be a temporary site for construction.

This hotel is very nice overall. However, if you want a view of more than just the mountains then this is not the hotel you should stay at. The view here, although all rooms seem to face the pool, is of the mountains, a drainage creek that at low tide can have an unpleasant odor, and a view of a Burmese shanty town. The […] breakfast buffet has quite a variety of American and Asian style foods that varies every other day with plenty of fruit and pastries to enjoy and was quite good. The bar staff however could use some training. We waited 15 - 20 minutes every time we ordered a drink whether they were busy or not. That being said, the wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very nice, the bed one of the most comfortable I've every slept on if you like firm beds. I recommend asking for a room that is not in the corner however. They have little to no view of the pool. The location is good for those not wanting to be right in the thick of all the night life, Bangla Road is about 1km away, but just a short walk to the beach. The spa was amazing, more expensive than getting a massage downtown, but a true spa experience. Read more

Stayed for 2 nights. Not a bad place, but they're still setting up the property as new construction. I upgraded to a pool-access room for a few bux more on checkin, well well worth it! However, the on-site restaurant sucks. Overall it was decent.

Rooms were very good and clean but the balcony view was not so good. There is a Open Sewerage Lines on back side of the hotel.but the room on pool side were very awesome.

For the price offered, it was of reasonable standard. The small but very nice gesture was free use of minibar which came with some soft drinks and nuts and chocolate. Comfortable and fairly good location, convenient to walk to most destinations in Patong.

Great value for money, pool access rooms are great. I read complaints about the smell from the channel next door but it didn't worry us at all, there were far worse smells in the streets. The hotel staff were great, several of our group got sick and we went to reception who organised a doctor to the hotel within 20 minutes. When I'm in a hotel, two things are most important to me, one is how clean the place is and 2 is the customer service. The room itself was very clean and tidied, but if they swept the floor as well that would be better. Some staff were more friendlier and helpful than others, but overall it was fine. The gym/fitness station advertised is a little dissapointing as it was just placed randomly on a floor where people can see you working out. The free breakfast was amazing. The guards remembered my face and becamr protective of me when i went out at night, this made me feel at home. The hotel was a short walk to the beach and taxis so it was very convenient. We stayed here with 5 of our friends and found it to be great for the price! Just far enough away from Patong Beach to be quiet but close enough to walk in and out a few times a day. The pool was nice, cocktail bar good - generally fine for the few days we stayed.

The hotel is on a busy road, although that doesn't really matter when you're in your room or round the pool. Rooms are lovely, bathrooms are superb!! Ground floor pool rooms are very nice with their own private access to the pool. For a budget hotel, this was superb!

The blue ocean was nice. Not far from the beach and bars and the staff were very helpful. No wi-fi in hotel rooms, only lobby and pool side making it a little annoying if you needed to check email etc.

Slightly out of the main beach area but still within the standard tuk-tuk taxi rate. Staff were excellent, rooms are very clean and in hotel dining is very reasonably priced and good quality also does a very substantial breakfast. Excellent value here, only downside is some construction work going on nearby but this should not be too off putting.

As the taxi drives closer to Blue Ocean, we were concerned because from the outside, it is not much too look at. In fact, the buildings beside it are abandoned and pretty run down. But... What a very pleasant surprise this hotel turned out to be. Vi stannade här i 10 nätter och hade det otroligt bra. Rena, fräscha och rymliga rum med ett antal bekvämligheter. Tar ca 5 minuter att gå till stranden och det "riktiga" centrum. Hotellet ligger bra till på så sätt av att man inte störs av all aktivitet som finns runtomkring. Dessvärre är poolområdet väldigt litet. Poolen är super men det finns endast […] ca 12 solstolar vilket gör att de ofta är upptagna. Hotellets tak gör även så att solen försvinner vid 14.30 (i december). Floden som finns bakom hotellet luktar lite illa ibland. Vi blev tyvärr magsjuka redan andra dagen i Thailand men personalen var jättesnälla och kom med diverse saker som vi behövde vilken tid på dygnet som helst utan att vi behövde betala något. Jag fyllde även år under vår vistelse här och då kom personalen och sjöng för mig och hade en jättefin tårta med sig. Supertrevlig och service-minded personal som gärna hade fått kunna lite bättre engelska! Read more
