The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa has a full-service spa, a spa tub, and a steam room. Wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is complimentary in public areas. This 5-star resort features business amenities including a 24-hour business center, small meeting rooms, and limo/town car service. This beach resort offers a restaurant, a coffee shop/café, and a poolside bar. The staff can provide tour/ticket assistance, wedding services, and event catering. Additional amenities include a children's pool, a children's club, and spa services. For a surcharge, guests receive transportation including a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request), an area shuttle, and a shopping center shuttle. "Food was a let down"
Within the last 18 months we had stayed at the Westin in Dubai and Bali. Both were great and we had high expectations for Siray Bay. Upgraded on arrival to a larger suite, we found the the accommodation to be bright, spacious, quiet and with a fantastic view. We were high up right at the back of the resort but the efficient buggy service ensured mobility […] was not a problem. Minor negatives were a shaky WiFi connection charged at more than just the "nominal" fee indicated and the general standard of room maintenance - a toilet that leaked when flushed, bad smells from the sink in the living area, many untreated scratches to the doors and furniture. It rained for almost the the whole 5 days of our stay and we never got to check out the beach but the cloudy waters of the bay did not look too appealing. The 3 pools, each built into a hillside, were small but adequate. Service was great throughout but we had one major disappoint - the food. Our rate included buffet breakfast but the quality of what was presented was really poor. Evening meals were expensive but the price was sadly not reflected in the quality which was unremittingly poor whether the buffet dinner at Seasonal Taste or a-la-carte at Prego or EEST (where our meal ranked as awful). Unlike most other hotels, there were no alternative restaurants within walking distance. "Western Siray Bay Resort and Hotel"
First of all let me say overall this hotel was beautiful! And the employees are nice.Too bad only 2 of the 4/5 restaurants was open. But I think they rushed to open (this hotel just opened last Aug) because our bathroom still had stains on the wall and paint like to mark for future painting. "Not for people with disabilities"
The resort itself was okay but to get to your room you had to take a tuk tuk as there were very steep hills and it took some strenght to walk down to the main hotel as well. The staff was friendly. The amendities in the room was very little compared to other Westin hotels and the shower room leaked so our hall floor got flooded every time we took a […] shower. The Spa which apparently was voted the best in 2012 was not great either. It was very noisy, the rooms were too cold and tratments were not great again compared to other Westin hotels. "Not as good as other places"
Plunge pool rooms not worth it as the room pools are poorly maintained and not usable due to dirty brown water. Ended up only using the resorts main pools. Service is not as good as in other resorts, staff are quick to say "no" and dont look for other ways to help out. When we were there, there was a big conference and the hotel used 2 out of the 3 […] main restaurants to accommodate the conference and the resort guests were notable to use these restaurants during that time. "Westin Siray bay Phuket"
This hotel is about an hour from the airport, (which was too far) and it's stuck in the middle of an extremely poor dirty area. The hotel itself though is beautiful. & staff are helpful & friendly. It's a good place for relaxation but not much else. The restaurants were mediocre, and there was virtually no activities. No water sports, so it wouldn't […] be any good for young people. 部屋のテラスにプールが付いている部屋でしたが、壁面に藻が付着していて、メンテは如何なものかと思いました。一般のプールも落ち葉が沈んでおり、日焼け止めの影響もあるのかも知れませんが透明度は低く、某RCKと比べると見劣りしているかも知れません。隣室のＴＶの音がうるさいレベルの遮音の低さでした。斜面に形成されたホテルで、プール、レストランからの帰路が難業の様に階段を上がらねばならず、お子様連れ、お年寄りにはお勧め出来ません。Genuine Expedia guest review
