I booked my reservations for the next day which was Chinese New Year. In other words, almost every hotel/resort in Phuket was booked full. The resort... far exceeded our expectations. First off, it's quiet-very quiet. The pool is huge. The resort upgraded us for free to a penthouse suite: 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full kitchen, a jacuzzi patio. The suite must have been about 1500 square feet. Simply beautiful. The resort is not on the beach, but we didn't care. You can walk 2 minutes to a pier and hire a long tale boat to take you to a couple of small islands about a 15 minute boat ride away. We hope to make Club Yamu an annual tradition. Quiet, Quiet, and more Quiet. If you want action, then stay away. This is not your place. But if you want peace and quiet at a small, modern resort then this is it. Conveniently near the airport in Thalang, Baan Yamu Residences is close to Royal Phuket Marina and Boat Lagoon Marina. Additional area attractions include Two Heroines Monument and Bang Pae Waterfall.

Resort Features.
Baan Yamu Residences has an outdoor pool, a fitness facility, and a children's pool. Wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is complimentary in public areas. This Thalang resort offers a restaurant and a poolside bar. Additional amenities include a concierge desk, a terrace, and tour/ticket assistance. Onsite parking is complimentary.

Guestrooms.
Rooms feature balconies with pool or garden views. The 40 air-conditioned guestrooms at Baan Yamu Residences include CD players and safes. Beds have pillowtop mattresses and signature bedding. Guests can use the in-room complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access. 41-inch LCD televisions are equipped with cable channels and DVD players. Bathrooms offer separate bathtubs and showers, bathrobes, and complimentary toiletries. Absolutely gorgeous ... the rooms are beautiful (we had a two bedroom, two storey apartment). The hotel has one awards for the designs and you can clearly see why they have won. The pool was the main attraction. It is just like a postcard picture! Large pool and not at all crowded. The staff were lovely, the food was also good (reasonably priced for […] a hotel) and the cocktails we very much enjoyed! The resort is perfect if you want a relaxing holiday. You can do day trips to Surin Beach and Patong. Lastly the spa at the resort s also worth a visit or two (it is also reasonaly priced). We will def. be holidaying here again. Read more

部屋は日本人には大きい感じがしますが、デザインを含めてよいと思います。チェックインした部屋の空調が効かず、クレームを出して部屋を変えてほしいと訴えると、なかなか受け入れてもらえず。最終的に1時間ほど交渉してようやくOK。フロントから一番遠い部屋でしたが、夜10時ごろアイスを頼むと、人が居ないから取りに来てほしいとのこと。　結局、これ以上のトラブルは面倒だと思い取りに行きました。。。ハードは立派ですが、ソフト面は今まで宿泊したホテルの中ではかなり悪いと思います。　翌日フロントで対応してくれた女性は、かなり気の利く方でした。。。　スタッフそれぞれの対応で、ホテルへの印象はかなり変わってしまいますね。
