This hotel was very acceptable once i was able tocheck in. Up until then is a slightly different story. They were too pick me up at the airport for 200 baht but never showed. I waited an hour with taxi drivers begging me to use them for 500 baht but i was able to go back into the airport and a kind securty guard let me use his phone. The hotel came […] ten mins later but when i atempted to checkin they had input my stay for two months later even though expedia was correct. Outside of that somewhat ordeal the room was nice and the personell were very helpful and the resort was well kept. One word of caution is to get a room far away from the main entreance due to the loud bar open very late. Read more

Clean and pleasant room with balcony, varied breakfast buffet, 3 small but pleasant pools. Across the street from the beach and many restaurants. Surprisingly quiet--no blaring music at pools. Me and two grown kids enjoyed the expensive but vast and fun New Year's Eve buffet, fire show, music and games. The lack of a lobby detracts from its appearance--folks […] huddle at picnic tables under a roof adjacent to the reception desk. Many smokers! I suggest banning smoke from public areas. My husband and I stayed here after a post-midnight arrival to get over jet-lag before starting a multi-day multi-sport trip. After seeing such beautiful pictures on Expedia, I felt happy with my decision to stay at the Nai Young Beach Resort. Upon arrival, I was quite pleased with the service and the facilities (especially the larger than medium sized fridge with freezer). It was close to the airport and really far away from the b.s. in downtown Phuket. We ate a relatively […] delicious buffet style breakfast (with Thai personal egg cookers- great touch!). It's location was across the street from the beach, the rooms didn'.t really have views; any of them, but that doesn't matter. The beach was un-crowded, relatively clean, but perfect. We could snorkel during low tide and the winds were perfect for kitesurfing. We could have paid more or been in a much more crowded place, but being content where we are, the hotel was perfect. A small mini-mart out front with almost EVERYTHING. A great restaurant (one of many) across the street called and some excellent kite instructors everywhere. Coastal Phuket has come a long way back after the terrible Tsunami that virtually ruined everything. Read more

This is a 3 star hotel so don't expect 5 star service. We were allocated the incorrect grade room and had to move - but only after we worked out that we were not getting what we paid for and raised it with the hotel. Constant little frustrations having to remind them of detail eg yes we did pay for breakfast, where is the bed for the little girl that […] we booked well in advance, soap in bathroom, towels, no hot water in basin, rooms not allocated on arrival. Each 'incident' was always resolved but should not have arisen at all. But its a great location and a happy place to spend a holiday if you're prepared to grind your way through the 'admin'. Very children friendly. Convenient to airport but a good 45 mins-1 hour from outings like elephant riding, Phuket Town and Island excursions. Read more

This hotel is definitely not in the 4 star grade by North American standards. At best it is a 3, maybe 3+. Room was very large. Breakfast was included and was quite an extensive buffet w/eggs cooked to order and many fruits, cereals, french toast, juices. Would rate breakfast buffet a 4 or 5 star by Asian hotel standards. There are two swimming pools, […] both in nice order and very pleasant surroundings. The hotel is across the small road from the beach, making beach access no more than a 2 - 3 minute walk. Beware - there is a reggae type beach bar directly across the street from the resort and it plays very, very loud music til very late in the night, 2 - 3 AM. This is a big turn off for us. We stayed here because of the hotel's close proximity to the airport. The hotel agreed to pick us up from the airport (arranged in advance with confirmation emails exchanged), however when we arrived at 11:00 p.m. (on time) no one was there. No one ever came. We took a cab. We got to the hotel which had a corporate party in full swing complete with […] ear-shatteringly-loud house music. We had to shout with the reception staff to hear each other. Our room was far away from the party, and so was reasonably quiet. Tired from travel, we gratefully made our way into the room. I went to take a shower and noticed a dirty, disgusting, wet washcloth wrapped over and around the showerhead. We immediately called reception and asked for another room. No luck - completely booked. Someone came out and removed the rag, which apparently didn't indicate the shower was broken as it seemed to function fine with the rag off. We asked for someone to come clean the shower. Someone came, without cleaning supplies, instead with a different dirty rag. We walked back to the house party/reception and asked for somebody to CLEAN the shower, not to smear more dirt over it. Reception told us this was not possible, that housekeeping did not arrive til 8 a.m. Resigned, we went to bed dirty, looking forward to the morning shower before continuing our travels. In the morning, no one came to clean the shower. At that point we decided to give up since there were certain things the cleaning staff would not necessarily be able to address such as the dirty, disgusting, fungus infected, stained grout. We cut our losses and bailed. Incidentally, at some point during this ridiculous charade we asked why no one had bothered to come pick us up at the airport though it had been confirmed at least twice. Reception staff just stared at us and were unable to provide an explanation. Read more

Pretty peaceful. It is the biggest and only resort there. Plus it was only a 5 min. ride from the airport. Beach, restaurant, massage palors, not many but friendly bars (girls). It's pretty much a tourist quick stop spot for older europeans and family passing through. I liked it but would only go to relax. Not to go wild and crazy!

We stayed at this resort for our last night in Thailand after having flown and boated to various islands. The town of Nai Yang is a quaint little beach town away from the hussle and bussle of the city. We wanted to stay one more night, but couldn't. The location of the hotel is across the street from the beach. Comfortable room with plenty of space in the junior suite. Ground floor rooms lack pricacy opening directly onto pathways; chooes first floor. We were there at New Year; some noise from the beach road bars carried into my daughters room closer to the ront of hotel. Pools supplied with sunbeds and umbrellas although excellent beach is directly outside. Breakfast […] area is a little rundown and could do with new furniture. Part covered, although a shower demonstrated that there is insufficient seating under covewr if the hotel is busy. We avoided staying New years eve itself, the hotels fixed price meal was overpriced compared to the excellent restaurants on the beach and the place to be is the beach for fireworks and music. We have stayed in two more places nearby. One was more money without pool or breakfast. The other was cheaper with no pool and less breakfast. 5 minute walk to beach. We would have stayed longer, but no availability. 200 tbt to airport, don't pay more.

Hotel is very close to the airport. Nice hotel , we stayed in the Deluxe Premium room and it was generally clean (sink in bathroom could have done with a better clean , otherwise was fine) and spacious. Get complimentary water, beach towels. Staff friendly and free wi fi in lobby area. 2 x pools looked clean and not busy (we didnt get chance to try […] them out though). They arranged airport pick for 200 BHT. Hotel is just across the road from the great beach which was perfect for us and not crowded. Saw some other reviews that suggested it was dirty but not when we were there. Water was lovely. Beach restaurants and bars close by to take a break for lunch / dinner and you can get a foot massage on beach for about 150 BHT! Walk north along the beach into the National Park and it gets even more remote/ quiet and we had the beach pretty much to ourselves. Snorkelling ok at the north end of the beach (though not as good as you get going to some of the islands like Phi Phi etc etc). If you want a clean, nice and well priced hotel close to great beach and restaurants in a quiet area this will meet your needs. If you want lots of people, nightlife and excitement you probably want one of the other beach/resort/areas. we stayed 5 days and would reccomend. Read more
