Only 3 km south of Patong, this beach is famed for its five-kilometre long white beach sand that squeaks under your feet. Mostly single row sunbeds decked along the stretch offer unsurpassed and unblocked views. Turtles are periodic nocturnal visitors to the beach. Recreational activities at this beach include paragliding, windsurfing, snorkeling, and volleyball. Thai Massage and reflexology are also offered on the beach.

Nice hotel in a good area, espacially if you compare it with Patong. Good for familys or people who don't want busyness. The rooms are nice, clean but they need a lot of maintenance. A lot of small things are broken or not fitting. The pool is great. Wifi internet was problamatic, because it cut off very often in the room. Breakfast is not worth the […] star rating and should be served on a better way. At the end of the line; for this money it's good value. But don't expect a spotless 4 star hotel; there are to many small issues that are annoying. "Better than one might expect...but..."
This hotel, insofar as the room is concerned, provides decent value for the money. The location in Phuket is fine...not far from local shops, good restautants and Kata Beach. The breakfast is quite good and the lunch around the pool is not bad. Dinner choices are somewhat limited but tasty. All of that notwithstanding, there is one serious downside. […] The service provided by the hotel staff is dismal at best. At checkout, we went through a 30 minute ordeal where the hotel cashier very blatantly attempted to overcharge us. She printed a copy of our bill but hit us for a late checkout fee for the 2 rooms I reserved. In order to avoid this, we had previously contacted the hotel management and they told me there would be no extra charge for only 90 minutes extra in our rooms. The cashier was indignant about removing the charges until I refused to pay the entire bill or see a manager. The cashier disappeared for 10 minutes to confer with the manager herself. When she returned, the late fee was dropped. She ran the incidental charges through on my credit card and billed me for the late check out charge that was to be dropped. I questioned the charges again and reminded her that the charges were to be removed. She gruffly credited my card and rebilled my credit card the proper amount. One room down...one to go. On the second room, there were no extra charges. But the cashier informed me that drinking glasses were missing from the room and said that we would have to pay extra for the missing glasses. I asked how many glasses there were supposed to be and I was told "2". I asked the occupants of the second room if they had broken the glasses. They told me that they hadn't...that they had left 2 glasses on the sink in the bathroom. I told the Cashier that housekeeping should check the bathroom. She called, spoke to housekeeping, hung up and said the glasses weren't there and suggested that we must have taken the glasses. "Don't waste your money go somewhere else."
The dinning room floors I would say from the look have never seen a steam cleaner. Check out time told to sit and wait for them to check the minibar, waited and in the end had to approach them to told all OK and we could leave, wouldn't want to be in a hurry Taxi - had to put my own bags in the hotel taxi and he was getting in the drivers seat while […] I was getting the last bag. "Alpina Phuket Nalina - Karon Beach"
Arriving at the hotel in the late evening, all seemed fine, where they presented us with a free drink while we checked in. After taking our credit card details for any extra charges, they presented us with a piece of paper that informed us, due to some flooding, there was no television, no telephone, no internet, and no restaurants at the hotel. they […] had arranged for a bus to take us to another hotel for the breakfast that we had paid for in advance. of course, we weren't very happy, but they had a flood, so we just said okay. We were given our key card and the bellboy brought our bags to the fourth floor. The corridor is covered by a roof, but is open to the side. Due the rain, the floor was quite wet. As we walked further down the corridor, the lights weren't working. The bell boy told us it was due to the rain, and an electrician was coming to fix the lights. He carried on walking down a very long, dark, wet corridor, at which point the water on the floor was so deep, our feet were getting soaked. At the room, the key card didn't work. So, we went back to reception, to ask for a different room, as it was pitch black and soaking wet and we weren't very happy. The lady at reception then gave us a different room, wiithout an apology. At the second room, we were greeted with a mess. The beds had not been made, and the place had clearly not been cleaned from the previous guests. There was a cot for a baby in the corner, and the room smelled like urine. So, again, we went back to reception, and asked for another room. The third room was clean, and tidy, and not down a dark corridor, so all looked good, except the air conditioning was leaking water on the floor. We took the room anyway, because we were tired and didn't want to run the risk of getting a worse room if we complained again. The next morning, the shower was cold. "Slitt hotell med varierende grad av service"
Vi (et par i begynnelsen av 30-årene) bodde på Alpina Phuket Nalina Resort & Spa fom 24.12.12 tom 06.01.13. Vi sitter igjen med et inntrykk av et hotellet som har hatt sin storhetstid og som er relativt dårlig vedlikeholdt. Bassengområdet, frokosten og hotellets spa-avdeling trekker opp, men rommet var slitt og i dårlig stand (slitent bad, dårlig TV-signal […] og internett, defekt safe, ødelagt romtelefon og dørlås). Hotellbussen ned til stranden var upålitelig og strandområdet var lite hyggelig. Et eksempel på det var ødelagte, slitte og skitne solsenger med istykkerrevne madrasser hvor foret tøt ut. Parasollene var rustne og strandhåndklærne falmede og slitte. Vi ble også nektet to håndklær hver for å dekke til de skitne solsengene selv om det tydelig var flere håndklær å ta av. Når det gjelder servicen var den nokså varierende. De ansatte ved spa-avdelingen fortjener skryt, både for god service og høy kvalitet på spabehandlingene. Frokostpersonalet var også oppmerksomme og serviceinnstilte. Resepsjonistene var veldig hyggelige første dag, men de fleste av dem ofret oss ikke så mye som et blikk når vi siden gikk frem og tilbake. Når dette er sagt dro vi selvsagt ikke til Phuket for å være inne på hotellet. Vi koste oss masse i den tiden vi var der, men vi vil ikke anbefale dette hotellet med mindre man er på gjennomreise og bare skal oppholde seg der i et par dager. "기대에 부풀게 했던 알피나.."
기대를 너무 했던가..딸아이와 함께 좋은 시간을 보내려 오랜시간 공들여 선택했지만 많이 실망스러웠던 곳이다/ 먼저 호텔의 얼굴인 프런트 데스크에 타이 전통복장을 입은 무뚝뚝하기 그지없는 여직원(처음이다..미소를 찿아볼 수없는 호텔 직원..), 사진처럼 깨끗하지 않은 수영장(3일 동안 불투명한 수영장 물만 힐끔거렸음..),청소상태 엉망인 객실 (이야기 하니까 담당이 청소직원 불러다 당장 확인 시켰음 먼지있는 곳을 손바닥으로 문질러서 확인하게하고 먼지 객실에 날리고~~직원 땀 흘리면서 겁먹은 눈동자로 확인하고~~그리고 그냥 가고..다음날 방을 옮겼으나 조금 나아진 정도..조식은 간단한 유럽식(?) 좋게 표현 하자면..어쨌든 […] 어떻게해서 별을 4개 하고도 절반을 성취할 수 있었는지~..작년에 이용한 발리의 별 3개짜리 "우말라스"가 여행내내 무쟈게 그리웠슴 ㅠㅠ... "Rolig strøk"
Ganske pene rom ,men sengene var STEINharde. Bra frokost. Dårlig kapasitet rundt bassenget ,10-15 nye solstoler, resten gammelt og steinhard. kom du ikke til rett tid fikk du ikke seng. det gikk en bil til stranda en gang i timen med plass til 7-8 stk.Har vært mange ganger i Thailand ,men ble ikke fornøyd med dette hotellet, personalet virket slitne […] og trøtte.Du venter deg litt bedre service når det er så dyrt, du fikk 12 flasker vann på hjørnet for prisen av en på hotellet. ikke forglem klevask, du kunne vaska alle dine klær på hjørnet for prisen av ei bukse på hotellet. "Total abgelegen."
Standard eines 3-4 Sterne Hotels. 2x Bett voller Ameisen. Fruhstück ganz schwach. Pizzas von der Pizzeria Mama mia wie billige Tiefkühlpizza von Aldi. Ohne Miete eines Motorrads ist man total isoliert. ( Miete 200 Bath p.Tag) Am Abend im Hotel total langweilig.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
