Situated on the beach in Phuket, Beyond Resort Karon is close to Dino Park Mini Golf, Kata Noi Beach, and Big Buddha. Also nearby are Kata Yai Beach and Kok Chang Safari Elephant Trekking.

Beyond Resort Karon has a full-service spa. Public areas are equipped with wireless Internet access (surcharges apply). This beach resort offers a restaurant and a poolside bar. The staff can provide wedding services, limo/town car service, and tour assistance. Additional amenities include a concierge desk, a garden, and secure parking. For a surcharge, guests receive transportation including a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request), a cruise ship terminal shuttle, and an area shuttle. Self parking is complimentary.

Only 3 km south of Patong, this beach is famed for its five-kilometre long white beach sand that squeaks under your feet. Mostly single row sunbeds decked along the stretch offer unsurpassed and unblocked views. Turtles are periodic nocturnal visitors to the beach. Recreational activities at this beach include paragliding, windsurfing, snorkeling, and volleyball. Thai Massage and reflexology are also offered on the beach.

The resort was nice, right on the beach & good views from the balcony. The pools and outdoor bar were great and the staff were really friendly, as were the other guests. "Wonderful Beachside Location"
We had a 6 night stay last week and found both the Hotel and holiday very good, relaxing and fun. The views from the balconies and pools were fantastic and we would sit for hours enjoying those views with a few cocktails or Chang beer. The location was great on the beach and probably one of the best placed hotels in that area. There are other hotels […] that look lovely and had good reviews, but we chose this because it was directly on the beach and there was no road to walk down, or cross to get to it which is a bonus. Great location on the beachside! Pool side overlooks the beach for those that like the sea but not the sand!!! The beachside restaurant was fantastic and the Grilled seafood platter a must!!!!!! This was our first time to Thailand and were not sure what to expect, we are a well traveled couple so can be fussy as to where we stay. We loved this hotel, it was clean, well positioned (right on the beach), quiet but with lots to do as soon as you soon as you walked out the hotel door, the staff were friendly, met lots of lovely people who were also […] staying there and we cant wait to go back. We had breakfast included in the price which was well worth it and there was a good variety of food. The hotel is a little tired however the rooms are roomy with very comfortable beds, and all have a balcony with outdoor seating. All rooms have a great view of the pool and the beach and the wonderful sunset. Food and drinks are a little more expensive than what you can get at the restaurants outside the hotel but still reasonable. When you walk out the hotel doors you have about 50 options of places to eat and drink and also lots of places for massages and shopping. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone. We really enjoyed our stay at Karon Beach Resort. It is the ONLY resort that is actually on the beach, with stunning views of Karon and amazing beach sunsets. The beautiful, friendly & always helpful staff made our stay in Phuket amazing. The rooms are nice but the only downfall is the beds. "Karon Beach Resort and Spa-great location."
We stayed for 6 nights in early April. We had a ground floor room which interconnected with our son's room. I would recommend a ground floor room if you have children as it makes it easy to get to the pool and beach. However, try and request a room away from the pool bar and restaurant area as a band plays every night until about 10pm. Annoying if you […] have small children trying to sleep. The food at the restaurant was fantastic-couldn't fault it. Had trouble getting a hot shower at 7am every morning. The breakfast buffet was good-lots of Western and Asian choices. The view from the tables was fantastic-looking over the beach. The pool was small but nice. Only criticism was that there was not a lot of room around the pool for kids to play. Following a flight delay management assisted us in arranging interconnecting rooms on our second day when initially not available and also provided a 'complimentary' birthday cake for a family member. Pool has a great swim up bar and beach/pool towels were changed daily. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Recommend 'The Sorrento' for cheap tasty meals and 'Two Chefs' for a bit more indulgence. Karon Beach is much quieter and less crowded then Patong...exactly what we were after. I would definitely recommend Karon Beach Resort to any prospective traveller. Having stayed in Patong on our previous visit we were looking for something a lttle less lively and more relaxing. Karon Beach Resort was well located with lots of lovely restaurants close by. I would recommend Kata beach though as opposed to Karon for swimming, Kata is only […] a short walk from the Resort and is much safer than Karon. Karon beach had strong currents and swimming was not advised there however at Kata, just a little walk away, was much safer.
