The overall experience was just great. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, very near the beach, breakfast was good, convenient stores, massage... palour and restaurants nearby, etc. Will come back here again when if I go to Phuket again. A word of caution: if you cannot climb, do not book this hotel. The rooms are on higher ground and everyone still needs to climb a bit to take the lift. by David from Singapore on 05/14/13

Offering direct access to the beach, Orchidacea Resort is in Phuket, within easy reach of Kata Noi Beach, Kata Yai Beach, and Big Buddha. Also nearby are Kok Chang Safari Elephant Trekking and Kata View Point.

Resort Features.
Spend the day at the beach and work on your tan in the sun loungers (chaise longues) or kick back in the shade with cabanas (surcharge) and umbrellas. After a day at the beach, enjoy amenities at Orchidacea Resort like an outdoor pool, a children's pool, and a fitness facility. You'll be playing in the surf in no time with a free ride on the resort's complimentary beach shuttle.

3 restaurants are on site for your dining pleasure. Public areas are equipped with wireless Internet access (surcharges apply). Onsite parking is complimentary.

Only 3 km south of Patong, this beach is famed for its five-kilometre long white beach sand that squeaks under your feet. Mostly single row sunbeds decked along the stretch offer unsurpassed and unblocked views. Turtles are periodic nocturnal visitors to the beach.
