This beachfront Phuket resort is on Nai Harn Beach, within nine kilometers of Kata Noi Beach, Kata Yai Beach, and Ao Chalong. Central Phuket, Patong, and the Phuket FantaSea theme park are within 25 kilometers.
Hotel Features.
The Royal Phuket Yacht Club provides complimentary breakfast, cooked to order each morning. This Phuket hotel also offers 24-hour room service, a poolside bar, and a trio of restaurants, serving Italian, Asian, and Mediterranean cuisine. The 300-square-meter full-service health spa includes a steam room and spa tub, a waterfall wall, a Zen garden, and indoor and outdoor treatment suites. This beachfront resort provides two tennis courts, a fitness center, two outdoor pools, beach/pool umbrellas, and a children’s pool. An airport shuttle is available on request. Among the facilities of this hotel there are also complimentary wireless Internet access, meeting/conference rooms, and luggage storage.

Guestrooms at The Royal Phuket Yacht Club feature furnished balconies with views of the Andaman Sea. Guestrooms are decorated with Thai-style furnishings, with dark woods and woven grasses. TVs come with satellite channels, pay movies, and DVD players. Guestrooms include CD players and sound systems as well as coffee/tea makers and minibars. Bottled water is complimentary, and guests are welcomed with complimentary drinks and fruit.

Regatta Restaurant - Overlooks Nai Harn Bay. Offers air-conditioned or open-air dining. Italian cuisine with seafood specialties. Fully stocked bar with selections of Italian Grappa and spirits. Seats 65 guests. Open for cocktails in the late afternoon and for dinner afterward.
Quarterdeck - Informal alfresco terrace. Serves a selection of Asian and international dishes. Open for continental breakfasts, light lunches, cocktails, and dinner. Buffet menu changes daily.
Poolside - Serves drinks and light meals daily.
A range of recreational activities are available at The Royal Phuket Yacht Club. Two outdoor swimming pools, including one for children, are located in the landscaped grounds. The resort also has two tennis courts and a fitness center with cardio and weight machines, and free weights. Snorkeling equipment can be arranged for local beach excursions. Surfing within the Nai Harn Beach area may also be arranged.
The 18-hole Loch Palm Golf Course is open to non-members and is within 15 km (9.5 miles) of the resort. Elephant trekking is within 12 km (7.5 miles). Horse riding is available at Phuket Riding Club, which is about 15 km (9.5 miles) away. A boating charter at Chalong-Rawai is within 10 km (6 miles) of the resort. Scuba diving can be arranged in many of the local waters, and at islands off Phuket, as part of 90-minute boating trips.

In order to fully enjoy your stay, forget the star ratings. The Royal Phuket Yacht Club is not a perfect 5 star hotel, but it is a beautiful hotel with a unique atmosphere of it's own. The surroundings of the hotel are very green with a hillside with plamtrees and a great view over Nai Harn beach. Nature is everywhere. Inside the hotel and the hallways […] there are plenty of palmtrees, flowers and other plants. You get to see a lot of harmless, wonderful creatures of tropical nature like birds, snails, gekkos, butterflies, frogs and bats around the hotel. We started the mornings with a fabulous breakfast, and enjoyed the unique atmosphere of the Quarterdeck restaurant and lobby in the evenings. Just beautiful! We liked Nai Harn beach. It is clean, it is beautiful, it's not overcrowded or overdeveloped, and it's just one step away from the hotel. If you don't want to swim in the sea, the hotel has a beautiful if somewhat smallish pool area with great views over the bay.
