The main administrative and shopping district, Bur Dubai contains some of Dubai's oldest buildings. Bastakiya is a carefully restored 'heritage quarter' of narrow alleys and courtyard houses cooled by wind-towers. Sheikh Maktoum's House (now a museum) is a fine example of 19th-century Arabian architecture. The nearby Dubai Museum offers a succinct account of the Emirate's history, while the Heritage & Diving Village recreates its maritime past.

"Burj package made our stay wonderful"
We were visiting 95% for holiday, but couldn't say no to the Burj package which made our stay that extra bit more comfortable! With our 8 month old baby, the suite room was so spacious and luxurious and we enjoyed every bit of it. The Kris restaurant breakfasts were perfect as was the restaurant service! The only area for improvement was that the check-in […] could've been a bit quicker (travelling with an 8 month old baby does not go with waiting after 11hr plane flights! "Lækkert hotel i kedelige omgivelser"
Rigtig fint hotel med højt serviceniveau, beliggende i en kedelige omgivelser, dog inden for gå afstand til et fint indkøbscenter, og metro. Med de lave priser på taxaer i Dubai, er beliggenheden fin i forhold til at man kan nå resten af byen for meget beskedne beløb.
