If you're like me and look forward to a daily swim when travelling, this isn't the hotel for you. The pool is more of a bath which I don't care to share with others. It was much better than I expected, its a quality 4 star in Mina street with friendly staff and very well maintained and clean rooms with acceptable amenities you may expect from a 4 star. I stayed for 6 hours in between a flight connection and just used room facilities which was quite satisfactory.

I was disappointed about the wifi price and availability (only in lobby, for 25 dirhams for 30 minutes). Also, because I'm fairly tall, the bed was not quite large enough for me.

Firstly, I understand hotel policy, but I've never been anyplace where I couldn't check in early. I spent nearly 4 hours in the lobby waiting for a room. In their defense they did give me a suite. But I was told they do not allow anyone to check in till everyone has checked out. This was rediculous. I will not stay here again.

The service was fine, checking in and out was very expedient, however my the sheets and towels quality/cleanliness were very disappointing for a 4 start hotel (as rated). Once you check in, I suggest you asked them to change all towels and sheets to new/clean ones…

This hotel was not what i was expecting. The customer service was the wrost i have ever imagined, and i have stayed at low line hotels in India and had better service! We called this hotel twice before arriving (1 week in between each call) to remind them to supply us with a baby crib for our little girl. When we finally got our room at 4pm!!, there […] was no baby crib in it. When we called to complain, they told us they dont have any remaining. After calling them several times after that, they just ignored our request. At midnight, they finally gave us a baby crib with the bottom mattress board broken in half!! i couldnt believe it! We also called them because we wanted to know if they had an ice mashine in the hotel and they couldnt understand what we meant. We asked them for a bucket of ice and they said they would bring it, and it never came. We asked again...it never came...im still waiting for my ice!! Horrible experience, horrible customer service...negligent staff, not clean (carpets stink) and above all, we booked the executive suite..which i would of expected a bit more bang for our buck. The hotel is good - the rooms are comfortable, the finish is good. The rooms are well appointed with a kettle and free tea/coffee, enough TV channels, a room safe and all that one would expect. Bathrooms are good too, and clean. Only complaint would be the kettles in both rooms we had were not working (one was replaced) and the towels were not changed […] daily in our 5-day stay. In fact, in one of our two rooms, they were only changed 2 times in 5 days. Other room had daily changes. Breakfast was not included in the Expedia rate and was expensive to have at Aed 75 per person ($20 p.p). We were looking for a reasonably priced comfortable hotel for a short break and this one fitted the bill perfectly. The location is not the greatest but with cheap taxis it worked out much less than staying in a better placed hotel. We stayed in a suite and it was well worth the extra money. Awful pillows!!! I could not sleep for three nights, and had to buy a new one in a supermarket.Service is ok, but people at the front desk do not speak a very good English. Breakfast is quite expensive but of good quality. Location is not very good, as in a desert neighbourhood, but taxi fares are so low you can afford a cab to get anywhere.

Good location, within 30 minute walk of open Dubai Jumeira beach. Taxi's £5 to Dubai mall only. Excellent metro system within short taxi ride. Rooftop pool area quiet and staffed. Friendly staff. Dubai is just incredible and the food is really good quality. Lots to do and see.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights on a business trip, excellent and very suitable.... However, it got a little busy with 2 functions going on in the hotel and they could not seat me in both restaurants, so put the Buffett in a back room which I felt was very poor service... The Russian entertainment was unusual, but good to sit with a big glass of […] beer and watch.... The main town is a 35uae taxi away and another 10ish to take you to the marina area... Well worth the money... Also visit the open beach (10mins by taxi). Dubai is an excellent place to visit, the people in the main are great. Dont be put off by the number on non locals working there, they really know there stuff! I took at $150 5 hour taxi tour of the city, excellent value and you see so much of the culture. Anyhow, 1 day business and 1 day pleasure worked well on this trip and I'm looking forward to staying at this hotel again in the future.... Read more
