This hotel exceeded expectations in almost every way. We were jet lagged from MST in the US and were up several hours in the middle of the night. Usually room service is lethargic and unresponsive during this time, but this hotel was extremely quick at answering calls and attending to our requests. The person who checked us in happened to be the same […] person checking us out and she was exceptional in every way. In spite of checking in hundreds of guests between us, she remembered our names, room numbers, and special request. Sheryl was fantastic. The amenities at this hotel were exceptional too. But since this is a themed hotel, you can't really call them "amenities". The water park was so much fun for the kids as was the dolphin meeting. The restaurants were great too, especially the Lebanese and Italian ones. Some of the best Lebanese food I have had. Although the hotel was pricey it was well worth it, especially for Christmas. lovely stay staff couldnt do enough. always with a smile and very helpful. i would say it was the guests that were the trouble very rude and pushy, i give alot of credit to your staff for keeping there cool.

Great hotel with a waterpark attached. Plenty of chairs available at the pools and resturants were first class. Fairly expensive, but worth the cost at least one time.

This was booked at the last minute for myself and 3 young children to get away from the UK spring. We chose the hotel for the waterpark and kids facilities. While the waterpark was amazing we were very disappointed with the quality of the beaches and the fact that everywhere you looked, there was building work going on (not in the hotel but in the near […] vicinity). So lying on a sunlounger watching Dubai land reclamation was interesting from an engineering point of view but not what you expect from a luxury holiday. In addition, everything in the hotel from icecream to drinks to suncream was incredibly overpriced. £5 for a poolside ice lolly and £7.50 for a small frozen yoghurt. Very impressed with Dubai - but not this hotel. Choose another and then visit the waterpark as a day visitor. Read more

We spent one week at the Atlantis The Palm and had a fantastic stay. EVERYTHING was perfect and our two children (age 4 and 9) loved it. We did not feel anything was missing and we used most of the facilities. The Lost Chambers, Aquaventure and Dolphin Bay was so nice and the whole family loved it. Lots of nice restaurants at the hotel both family friendly […] and more upscale restaurants like NOBU and Ossiano which have an age policy of 10 years and above. The Nasimi Beach Club we did not try but if we were traveling without kids, that´s definitely a place we would have hung out as it looked so cool with lounge beds and DJ right on the beach.... The only thing to point out about this hotel is the size and the price. It is a very big resort but it did not bother me except from in the buffet restaurant Kaleindoscope where it was a long line every morning. The lobby area was quiet busy and noisy but not chaotic. Everything is expensive and if you are going to eat three meals a day at this hotel, then be prepared to spend a fortune. We went into the city for dinner/lunch a couple of times and it took about 20-30 minutes by taxi. Despite the size and the price I can absolutely recommend this hotel. Overall a great experience. Excellent service all round, very nice amenities and views from the hotel. Enjoyed the outdoor activities and the aquarium very much. Very much enjoyed the stay. Just a note that there are lots of guests everywhere with lots of photos being taken. Air con wasn't as powerful as expected, but nothing to fault really.

The hotel is a theme based complex, built up for kids, (lots of them). The rooms are pritty basic, but everything is there. The food & drinks plus extras are expensive. The water park is excellent !

Exceptionally friendly service, great waterpark and aquarium, fantastic choices for breakfasts, lovely restaurants. And normally in hotels you get a travel cot for babies - here we got a proper full size wooden cot with proper cot mattress and bedding - lovely!

We absolutely loved every bit of our stay at Atlantis. The staff were lovely and very attentive without being annoying. Rooms were very nicely appointed with everything you'd expect in a five star hotel. We also enjoyed access to the Imperial Club. The added bonus was access to Aquaventure, which was very much appreciated when it was 46 and 47°

We booked to stay at Atlantis as a luxury end to our Easter vacation to Australia. We used the fabulous chauffeur service from Dubai airport and travelled in style, cool, and comfort for the 30 minute (or so) transfer onto Palm island. The chauffeur was very friendly and full of local information and showed us all the points of interest on the way. […] On arrival at the hotel we were blown away by the grandness and size of the hotel. Check in was very straight forward and we were shown to our room - our luggage was taken by the bell boy! A quick change a we headed straight for the Royal pool which was beautiful and extremely safe for the children. An array of lifeguards were on duty anyway. The following 2 days we made use of our pass into aqua adventure which was amazing, and again very safe - with lifeguards every 10m along the rides we had no worries. Our stay was not long enough to try out all 17 restaurants but we were more than happy with the Kaleidscope restaurant which catered for all tastes. Our family room was a superb size and had all the little touches you would expect from a 5 star hotel. One plus was the endless supplies of bottled water! Our stay came to an end all to quickly, and although it was not a "cheap" stay it was definitely a very luxurious end to our travels. We have already promised to take the kids back when they reach the height restrictions for the adult rides!! The hotel definitely lives up to its strap line 'the 8th wonder of the world'. Read more

Very expensive and service around the hotel was not what you pay for. Facilities were great no need to leave the resort. Children friendly environment but general height rule on water slides was OTT should be putting restrictions on rides that pose a danger only.

The atlantis is situated at the end of the palm Jumeirah, so in a way is a little isolated. We enjoyed a fantastic 3 night stay here. There was lots to keep us occupied-enough for 5 days I would say without feeling the need to venture off the Palm-which would take approx 20 min to near Dubai attractions. We got a local taxi from airport-much cheaper than Atlantis limo. We spent most of our time in the waterark and pool with our 3 year old. […] We did put him in the Kids Club for 90min(you get a free 4 hr session) so we could enjoy adult time in the waterpk (there are approx 6 rides unsuitable for tots) which we relished but he did not!! He much preferred the water to being inside! I also enjoyed swimming with the dolphins but thought it was a bit pricy for spectators.Think you should be allowed one for free. This certainly is not a budget holiday -drinks and food are very expensive at the resort but we enjoyed all the hotel had to offer and would rtn. Read more

We stayed for 3 nights with our 3 yr old.Wish we had had longer -none of us wanted to leave.The pools and waterpark are great.-although I am not sure I would have wanted to pay the (approx) £35 each had I not been a guest. Ok so this is an amazing hotel that in itself is a tourist attraction. With that in mind it was hugely crowded, it too about 20minutes to check in because of the lines of people and about the same to get out or check out......... the line for the breakfast buffett was 30 minutes. and nothing was easy to move around in because of the crowds and of course […] some of the folks there think they are superior to the rest of the world and thy just cut into the lines. This is an amazing hotel. It has its own water park which has free access for hotel residents. YThis includes one of the highest steepests sloides in the world 'Swimming with dolphins' is a separate venture and offers no discounts for guests. It is very expensive £100 each and the men who go into the water to ensue the dolphins do as they should also […] have their their cameras and ensue that they are strategically placed between the photographers on the beach and the action in the pool. Outstanding hotel for luxury, fine restaurants,recreational facilities,and pleasant and attentive staff. Bedrooms are of a good size with large bathrooms. Ample toiletries provided. Views from the balcony are great . Aquaventure park, Lost Chambers fantastic. Aquarium an awesome sight. About a 20 minute taxi ride from nearest shopping centre, Mall of […] Emirates, 30 minutes to Dubai mall and Burj Dubai. Free shuttle service available from the hotel but can be difficult to secure a seat as only one shuttle leaves at the appointed time. Plenty of taxis available at any time.
