The densely packed skyscrapers along this busy highway thin out slightly through New Dubai, a residential and commercial zone of malls, golf courses, art galleries and nightspots. I stayed for 3 days at the Dubai Radisson Blu Marina. I had booked a 2 bedroom suite since I was travelling with a child. The room was great, clean and beds were confortable to sleep. Concierge service was good. The thai restaurant in the hotel was also pretty good. Location wise, it is close to the marina, mall of emirates is about 10-15 mins by car. […] Everything else is a bit of a drive. Overall, it is a nice play to stay but some amenities could have been provided for the price we paid - like some dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent etc. we had to go to the grocery store and buy large quantities of these and this is hte only reason I would give them just 4 stars. "Quick stop over from London to Oz"
Friendly helpful staff. Impeccably clean and relatively new with new fittings and furnishings. Located near Metro train station, some food stores and Marina with some great dining, all within walking distance. Taxi had minor difficulty finding entrance on arrival as this was at back of hotel and not in obvious place for entrance. Our room contained […] everything we needed for the 1 night we stayed. It included a washer dryer in the kitchenette of the room we had. It was good to throw a wash load from previous travelling on while touring in Dubai. Given it was on main highway, it was relatively quiet apart from the occasional speeding car. Had a great sleep, so we weren't bothered by any noise. Room has its own air conditioning controls so one can adjust temperature or turn on/off as needed. Hotel car and driver was offered as an optional alternative to taxi. Cost more than taxi, but definitely worth the surety of getting to airport on time in a bit more comfort without any language or payment problems. "Great hotel but be very specific to staff"
The hotel was fantastic however unfortunately I had some trouble with the reception staff one day. Our desert safari tour did not show up to pick us up and so I asked the reception to call them and see what was happening. The lady, whose English was not very good, picked up the phone, spoke a few words and then told me the tour company was on their […] way and closeby. 20 minutes later they had still not shown up. Not convinced or satisfied with reception, I went back to our room and called the company myself, who had never heard from hotel reception. It was now too late for us to be included on the tour. We used this hotel for a 3 night stay in Dubai, and found it to be modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful whenever they were called upon, and the location of the hotel is ideal for reaching many of the Dubai attractions. The metro is very nearby, or if as we chose to do so, catching a cab is straightforward. The Hotel itself is a very clean and comfortable place to stay, with good facilities and in easy walking distance to the marina area for restaurants etc. Our Suite was located on the Sheik Zayed Road side of the building which could get a little noisy during the night. The next time I saty here, which I will, I would ask for a suite a little higher […] and on the other side of the building. The area in which the Hotel is located is pretty much like the whole of Dubai, a bit of a construction site, but this does not impact on the Hotel itself, just the scenery. Gode, store rom/leiligheter med relativt sentral beliggenhet i Dubai Marina. Dubais største motorvei er nærmeste nabo og det bygges flittig i området, det var derfor en god del støy selv om rommene er relativt godt lydisolert. Mycket fräsch hotell och trevlig personal. Ligger med gångavstånd till Dubai Marin och knappt 10 minuter till stranden och en gata med många restauranger. Nära en metro hållplats också som är ett smidigt sätt att ta sig till Mall of the Emirates och Dubai Mall med Burj Khalifa. "Gut für einen Städtetrip"
Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig gehalten, das ist wirklich schön. Die Lage ist an und für sich auch gut, nur wenige Meter entfernt von der Marina, bzw. wenige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Zur nächsten Metro-Station waren es etwa 7 Minuten. Was zwar nur temporär, aber dennoch störend war, waren die umliegenden Baustellen, an denen Tag und Nacht (natürlich) […] gearbeitet wird, bzw. die direkte Lage an der Hauptverkehrsstraße. Bessere Fenster würden diesen Dingen garantiert den Wind aus den Segeln nehmen. Nichts desto trotz bietet das Hotel alles, was man während eines Dubai-Aufenthaltes braucht: schöne, große Zimmer, einen Swimmingpool, 2 Restaurants, eine Hertz-Autovermietung direkt in der Lobby, einen wunderbaren Concierge-Service und eine zentrale Lage. Die Marina Bay und der Strand sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, ebenso eine kleinere Mall und die Metrostation. Frühstück in der Mall ist empfehlenswert. Wir fühlten uns auch nachts sehr sicher. Deshalb werden wir das Hotel wieder buchen. Das Studio (Standard) war super eingerichtet und sehr gross, aber direkt an der lauten Autobahn. De Luxe Zimmer sind auf […] der ruhigeren Seite. hotellet ligger bra till om man vill bo nära stranden men inte känner för att lägga de extra 1000-lapparna för att bo på ett av strandhotellen. tar ca 10 min att traska ner till stranden. hotellet ligger också nära en metrostation (ca 5min) vilket gör det lätt och smidigt att åka till city mm. super trevlig och hjälpsam personal. stora rum med både […] soffa och ett helt kök. poolområden är trevligt. restaurangerna på hotellet är väl inte de roligaste, finns betydligt bättre i närheten. Men ønsker du et godt hotel til en fornuftig pris et det et optimalt valg. Der foregår ikke meget på hotellet, men der er ikke langt (10 min til fods) til The Beach Walk, hvor der er alt det liv du kan ønske dig. […] Og den offentlige strand er meget fin med god plads.
