Hotel location is great and the room is spacious. The room furniture including TV is old. Three or 3.5 stars at best would be the appropriate star rating. Expedia classified this hotel as providing free internet service to its guests but it does not. They charge $4 per hour for internet access.

We had a great experience. Reasonable rates with large rooms. We (2 adults) elected to upgrade to a 1-bedroom. The bathroom is a bit dated and the televisions are old with limited channels. We are savy at using public transportation in most cities and chose to take Metro from the airport. We needed directions several times. However, once we got oriented, it was easy to navigate. The hotel is located behind and perpendicular to the Burjuman Mall. From Metro, exit 3 and walk along Bank Street (aka Khalid Bin al Waleed Road) and the hotel is behind Citibank. There is a small grocery store and pharmacy located across the street from the hotel for convenience. There is also a nearby Indian restaurant located a block up the road. We could not find a review in a guide, but enjoyed our meal there. There are also several dining options (with several places for breakfast) located in the Burjuman Mall. Keep in mind that the mall is divided in 2 segments, attached to each other via a dept store, so if the store is closed, it is difficult to get from one end to the other. The hotel is located in the Bur Dubai area, close to the Dubai Creek and the Historic District. We chose to walk around and explore, but roadways can be confusing, so I advise taking a cab to these areas for the less adventurous. Read more

when i enter the hotel room it looked okay to me,very well one y my housekeeper,as i was very tired coz I had a very long flight I went for a shower and there was all water in the bathroom. I had a terrible stay here. I arrived early in the morning of my check -in day, so I was expecting to be charged for the "early check fee". You would think that everything would be ready in the room, but it was not. In fact, the room had no towels, the T.V.remote did not work and the water heater was shut off, so we had no hot water until morning. Calling […] reception at 5 am was a joke, and it took almost 45 min. before someone came to my room to address these issues. The towels that were brought to me were old, hard and crusty, and well, disgusting. If the ownership of this hotel cannot even purchase new towels every now and then, make sure that the rooms don't smell of bug spray, update the nasty looking baths and make sure that the guests requests are answered in a reasonable amount of time, they should not be in business. This is not a 4-star hotel by any means, it is more like one-star. If I had known anything about this hotel, the area that it is in, and the way that it is run, I would have NEVER came here for even one day. To get to the hotel by taxi, be clear about the address as our taxi driver was not sure until I showed him a map. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful and the cleaner was delightful! We were very happy generally with staff except at the end of our stay they gave us a phone bill for more than $ 500 for the phone call we never made and since it was the last day we were told we have to pay at least $100 for it. To start with the Hotel needed to provide me with a visa. I sent all the paper work needed to the person in charge 3 weeks prior to departure, I called her and emailed her nearly every day, to know the progress of my visa, everytime I spoke to her she says its not a problem until the day before my departure i was still waiting for my visa, when I called […] I was advised that she is off and nobody else does her job. At that moment I needed to speak to the manager who explained that there was a problem with my visa for few days but nobody told me that. The day of my departure (thank god it was a pm flight) I still didnt have the visa until miday, by then I was frustrated and already planning change of plans. NOT PROFESSIONAL! The other matter is the reception staff hardly knew things and places aronf Dubai (they should as the hotel is 4*) the answer most of the time is "I dont know". The internet access was expensive and extremly slow, it took me 90mn to check in my flight. Although the place is well located, the rooms were outdated and we always needed to ask for extra towels (they only leave 2 instead of 4 for an occupancy of 4). Disapointing for the money spent. Arrival and check in was smooth until I got into the room, the bathroom is usually the first place I go to and it was disgusting, the tub was dirty and stained with soap scum, the room look shabby and the air was controlled in the room next to us, so the first night was HOT. It was a very spacious 2 bedroom apartement, i was with my family 3 adults and 1 child. It was very clean and the staff were friendly. We got what we asked for promptly , there were no problems.
