An old hotel set in a beutifull location next to the water and close to downtown and waterfront reestaurants. Great value for the price. Remember this is Curacao and not a 5 star hotel in the USA. "A welcoming surprise"
From most of the reviews we read before booking this hotel, we expected to find an untidy room and a leaking moldy bathroom awaiting us. But when we arrived and to our surprise the room was clean and has an excellent ocean view and the bathroom was in good condition. Our room was located in the low rise building of the hotel, above the lobby and the […] main floor. The hotel was built right beside the waterfront and of walking distance to many places of interest, restaurants and shops. We are thankful for this nice and inexpensive accommodation. We really enjoyed our two nights stay and will recommend it to friends. The day we were going to check out, it was raining heavily and the ceiling of the room was leaking slowly. It is a wonderful hotel in a good part of the city on the island. The only cons are the breakfast lunch and dinner buffet is expensive, you are not near any beaches really besides the shuttle service they have to only 1 beach which is cheap. "Good for an average hotel"
We stayed at this hotel for one night due to scheduling of flights from US. We just wanted an average inexpensive place to stay for one night and this hotel was exactly that. Great location in downtown close to many restaurants, great view of the bay and city from our room and easy access to the waterfront area. Only complaint is that we arrived very […] late on a friday night and the parking is very limited. Cars literally park on the sidewalks and wherever they can "make a space". It was very crowded due to guests and non guests visiting the casino and nearby restaurants. Hotel should have reserved spaces for guests of the hotel. We "created" a space and if we didn't, I don't know where we would have parked. When I told the front desk that there were no spaces they seemed surprised and offered no suggestions or help. Este hotel esta muy bien ubicados, esta en el propio centro de la ciudad willestad. No necesitas carro para ir a compras ya que todo lo tienes cerca.
