We stayed four nights in this hotel and found it nearly perfect. The location is great (very close to the Cais do Sodre metro station), and it is just a short walk to the shops and restaurants on Rua Garrett. Inside, the hotel is impeccably decorated. We stayed in one of the hotel's small guest rooms, and found it to be sufficient for all of our needs. […] Our only complaint is that the hotel is adjacent on one side to several dance clubs, and from our second floor room, we could hear the bass lines of the dance music continuously from about 10 p.m. on Friday night. It was still going strong even at 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning! On that same side of the hotel, there are also a number of abandoned, graffiti covered buildings, which added a bit of a sketchiness. This hotel had a great location, convenient for the restaurants of Bairro Alto, minutes from the main attractions and across the street from the metro and train station. The staff were all very friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms were quirky and refreshing, but not for those expecting large rooms. This hotel is by far the nicest boutique hotel i have been to. When they said boutique, they meant it. Every little detail in the room is taken care of. I love the glass wall bathroom and the fact you can watch TV while showering. The lighting in the room is also very special. iPod/iphone dock came in very handy as well. Hotel location is awesome! Close to Cais do Sodre station, which has buses, trams, metro, trains, and ferries. Also walking distance to shopping, bars, restaurants, etc, and a stone's throw from the river. They let me leave my things when I arrived from the airport at 10am and my room wasn't yet available. They lent me an outlet converter and provide free wireless (though it's spotty). "Great stay at LX Boutique Hotel"
We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Lisbon. Main reason for that was our hotel.it is close to all the important places- Baixa, Chiado, Bairro Alto, Parca do Figueris. We walked to Belem tower and discoverers tower. Tejo river walk was only 500 m from our door. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood. We had a wonderful weekend in Lisbon celebrating my friend's birthday. The LX hotel is just gorgeous and in a fantastic location, although be prepared to walk up some steep hills in Lisbon! The hotel was easy to find and were regular and easy connections to the airport. Check in staff were very friendly and the first impressions of the room were very good. A luxuriously comfortable bed, there was a hand held shower attachment as well as an overhead power shower. Free wifi was available with no password necessary, this made it easy and […] quick to search the Internet for local events and places of interest. Beautifully presented room and clean towels and freshly made beds every day. We had an evening of rain and the range of tv channels and comfortable bed ensured the evening wasn't wasted. The only problem was that there were no tea or coffee facilities, but plenty of local cafes for an energizing espresso. Vi overnattet i fem netter. Hotellet var sjarmerende innredet med meget god beliggenhet. Alle ekskursjoner skjedde til fots, og det var heller ikke langt til togstasjonen med f.eks. avganger til f.eks. Cascais, Estoril og Belem. Heller ikke langt å gå til stasjonen med avganger til f.eks. Sintra.Vi spiste ikke frokost på hotellet. Kort vei til en rekke […] fine frokoststeder i alle prisklasser. Servicen var utmerket og rommene ble rengjort daglig. Forsøk å unngå rom mot bakgaten dersom du er sensitiv for støy, der det ligger div. nattklubber med illevarslende navn som Bar Oslo og Copenhagen. Høy partyfaktor, særlig i helgene. Fra vårt rom i hotellets 1., dvs. i realiteten 2. etasje, hørte vi støyen, men den plaget ikke vår nattesøvn. Gratis Wi-Fi og minisafe på rommet. Senga var god. "Lækkert hotel med perfekt beliggenhed"
Hotellet er relativt nyt og smagfuldt indrettet. Vi havde 6 overnatninger der. Vores værelse var et Xpanded River View på 3. sal med udsigt over floden. Værelset var dejligt stort og meget stille og mørkt om natten så vi kunne få en god søvn. En dag var der ikke gjort rent og der var støv samt håndklæder, der var rene men tyndslidte, hvilket vi gjorde […] opmærksom på i receptionen. Dette blev straks udbedret og vi fik en flaske champagne som undskyldning for at de ikke havde leveret som de skulle. Dette er stil. Receptionen er i øvrigt meget venlige og hjælpsomme ved f.eks. bookninger mv. Morgenbuffeten er set større men, der var hvad der skulle være og det var friskt og nylavet; vi var tilfreds med den. Hotellet ligger godt med gåafstand til de fleste kvarterer og stationer med togforbindelser. Vi vil absolut gøre brug af hotellet når vi igen kommer til Lissabon og kan kun anbefale det.
