When I booked, I had read several reviews claiming this hotel was perfect. However, when I arrived...while appearance-wise it was quite perfect...the service certainly was not. Then entire stay any notes were made out to my husband...who was not vacationing with me, and was not on the reservation at all. My friend smelled smoke one night and the front […] desk told her there was no problem, and did not look into it or reassure us at any point that there was nothing wrong. My phone's message light was blinking so I called downstairs to the front desk and was told there was no message and it was a mistake. I hung up, but the phone kept blinking. I called down again and was put on hold, then asked to go down to the front desk. When I got down there I was told that there was a mistake again and it would go away. When I got back up to my room, someone else called and asked if I had a question...after explaining it to them, I was given a code to get my voicemail. The elevators were insanely slow. The waitresses in the lounge and restaurant were ridiculously slow, it took an hour and a half to get a Cobb salad!! But, it was also served with what my friend and I ordered as a "starter" and my friend's salad was completely forgotten. By the way, don't purchase soft drinks...almost 5 dollars for a small cup!!! "not impressed, avoid it"
Arriving at 12;15 we waited until 3 PM for our room. It was dirty, so we asked for new service from manager on duty. There was sliperys from the previous guest under the bed. THEY REMAINDED FOR 2 DAYS!! It was a bad experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Mixed emotions"
Positive: We stayed in a deluxe suit and the room was amazing. Lots of space and very comfortable. We also had access to the Executive sky lounge, which has amazing views over the city and serves snacks and drinks throughout the day. It was a perfect place to relax. The spa treatments are expensive, but worth it. I had the best massage of my life! Negative: […] The service at reception was horrific!! Very nice staff but we spent atleast 3 hours of our total 22 hour stay just to get answers from reception and to check out. Seriously understaffed. The hotel was quite busy and there are only a few elevators. Sometimes we had to wait 15-30 minutes to get a elevator. There was also empty coffee and sugar sachets in our room and the minibar was not fully-stocked according to the list provided by the hotel and we were very worried that we would be charged for those things, which luckily we weren't. Also we had problems when paying our account and I had to insert my credit card pin 3 times. The bank the froze the amount of our bill x3 which then blocked my credit card. Luckily I was not alone and it was the last night of our holiday so I did not need much more cash. Das Hotel ist mit 5 Sternen absolut überbewertet. Im Bad war es nicht möglich einen Fön in Betrieb zu nehmen. Im Eingangsbereich war eine Steckdose, aber jedoch so weit vom Spiegel entfernt, das es kaum möglich war mir vor einem Event eine Frisur zu erstellen. Das Zimmer war es extrem klein, das Bett sehr schmal und die Heizung /Klimaanlage ließ sich […] nicht regulieren. Es war ständig überheizt. das Fenster ließ sich nur einen Spalt öffnen. Die Fahrstühle brauchen eine Ewigkeit - besser gleich -auch mit Gepäck- 10 oder mehr Etagen Treppen steigen. Pessimo hotel, zona di periferia e quartiere degradato e lontano dal centro. In tre giorni di soggiorno ci sono state sostituire 3 camere: nella prima il wc era fuori uso, nella seconda ci hanno dato una suite per scusarsi ma peccato che era riservata a persone disabili con tanto di pappagallo in camera e e wc rialzato con attrezzatura speciale. L'ultima […] era discreta ma per essere un 5 stelle il bagno è molto vecchio e la doccia piena di muffa nera.
