"Stunning little city!"
This hotel is well located in the centre of Aveiro, right by the main canal. Top quality facilities, beautiful surroundings, very comfortable room. The only problem we had was due to the fact that they reserved us a smoking rooms instead of non-smoking, but they promptly changed it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

hotal bien situado; cerca del centro de la ciudad y muy próximo al Forum Aveiro; eché de menos que no tuviera piscina accesible de manera gratuita para todos los huéspedes del hotel; solo tiene la del spa que es con recaergo. "Nice hotel in Aveiro"
we were visiting relatives in Aveiro. they recommended the Melia. the hotel itself was fine, but I found the actual building and the surroundings very bare - the building is a rather ugly block from the outside, and the river area near it could be so attractive but there is a lack of trees, flowers, cafés (there is one, which opens at 11 a.am which […] is OK) but the general impression is rather bleak. the hotel is however, very near a shopping centre and you can reach most places in Aveiro on foot. we didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we just wanted a snack, so had a very good galao and some good Portuguese pastries, at an amazingly reasonable price, nearby. I would recommend the hotel as comfortable and fitting the requirements of a city break. it is not one i would choose if i wanted to spend a lot of time there.
