"Good "layover" hotel."

Hotel is very close to Airport. I had to call hotel for shuttle pickup, and he arrived very shortly afterwards. Hotel has full service accomodations, Very reasonable restaurant with excellent food. The breakfast was magnieficent with plenty of choices. THe room was very clean and comfortable. TV was outdated but CNN was avaialble. The Hotel had WI FI […] which was free and came in handy. "Pleasant hotel, but only if you like warm rooms"
I chose this hotel as I needed to catch an early flight, and this hotel is only 10 minutes bus ride from the airport. Also convenient for PKP Warszawa Żwirki i Wigury rail station (only a few minutes walk). The entire hotel is modern and well-maintained, and the rooms are large, clean, and in excellent condition. Toilet is separate to the bathroom, […] which is quite unusual in this price range. Nice view of the city centre from the lift and from some rooms. Hairdryer, fridge and tea making facilities are included. TV is a little dated, but has a good range of channels. The room even included a full-size sofa, which was a nice addition. The only thing which lets this hotel down is that the air conditioning doesn't work properly, and the windows do not open. This spoiled my stay, as I find it difficult to sleep in a warm room. I left the aircon running on full all day, but all it did was circulate room-temperature air around. I found it very difficult to get to sleep for this reason. I did not have a thermometer, but I would guess that the temperature was around 22-23 degrees - acceptable for some, but I need my room to be 20 degrees maximum to sleep well. Because of this, I would be wary of staying at the hotel again, unless I am certain that the aircon works properly. This is not an issue at the Novotel in the city centre, where I have had some very comfortable nights previously. I had an early morning flight out of WAS. The hotel was great, very clean and modern. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Had a shuttle to the airport that I didn't know about on arrival in to WAS, but used on my way out. The only draw back is there are very few eating options in the area.
