"uninformed and frustrated"
If I knew that do to construction that the airport shuttle dropped you off and picked you up two blocks from the hotel with all your luggage and that the noise at 2:00 AM and again at 6:00 AM so loud that my room had to be changed, I would never have stayed there. Long lines to check in unless you have signed up for a rewards card and If you enjoy coffee […] in your room be sure you have a Go room or you have to stand in long lines at Mrs. Fields in the morning. The only plus side is a wonderful location on the strip. I had no idea about construction in the hotel as the travel agents or any of friends knew anything about either. "Great location, tired hotel"
You can't ask for a more central hotel at such a low price (paid $40). We checked in by machine. I'd suggest waiting in the queue and requesting a room close to the elevators as the hotel is enormous. Decor needs updating and the bathroom was a disgrace but comfortable and clean beds. We chose this hotel specifically because of it's location right in the middle of the strip and that aspect was great. Well this is the second time staying in this hotel. The rooms are a good size and they have done a lot of remodeling. However the service sucks. #1 my room had wet towels from the previous guest hanging from the shower curtin rod. #2 I went to get a diet pepsi from the vending machine down the hall and swiped my card only to find out it was out of diet pepsi, i pushed the cancel buttom. After gambling at the flamingo several times I decided that it would be pretty exciting to stay there for once. Was disappointed on how dingy the hotel looked.
