the B&B was cute, but not worth the ~$250 price. we informed the proprietor rhat we had to leave early (~8:00) the next morning. His response was "well, breakfast starts at 8:30". there was no offer of any adjustment. we would not stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect"
Could have used a better complimentary beer and wine selection....but other than that the place was perfect....the privacy and cleanliness of this place were well worth the money to meGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Adorable Rural Bed and Breakfast"
It was fantastic. Breakfast was great and the owners were incredibly friendly. We weren't notified from hotels.com of the check-in time ending at 8pm, but the owners very graciously woke up to great us when we arrived at 10:30pm. If you book, please do the owners a favor and arrive between 4 and 8pm or let them know!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our stay at the Cooper House B & B was wonderful. Rob and Tey are enthusiastic hosts and share their knowledge of Angels Camp and nearby Murphys. The room was great, super comfortable king size bed. We felt warmly welcomed by friendly staff. Many details made our stay very enjoyable...robes, wine, quiet, outdoor areas to sit, 1/2 block from town, delicious breakfast and coffee. We would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very Unhappy"
I did not get to stay here as after I had booked the room and got a confirmation on a wednesday I got a call from the Bed and Breakfast late friday afternoon the day before I was to be there that they could not honor my reservation even though they had sent me a confirmation of my room booking because they gave to room to someone else. Very unprofe […] ssional. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I am normally not much of a B&B fan but we ended up staying at the Cooper House and it was a very pleasant experience. The rooms were immaculately clean and well appointed,. The hosts were wonderful and very generous. They prepared an excellent breakfast and both nights surprised us with home made cake. "Wonderful Experience"
Tey and Rob run an first-class operation. The room was immaculate, the food great, the hospitality superb, and the company inspiring. The complimentary wine, coffee, and other items made us feel at home. I've never stayed at a B&B before, and this was actually an official "Inn", which means, among other things that they are allowed to serve wine. One […] of the things we did there was to try our luck at gold-panning. Tey went out of his way to hook us up with a local pro who was most helpful, and it didn't cost us a penny. And, although not specific to this particular establishment, Angels Camp is a wonderful place to visit. There is a wide array of culture, history and natural beauty to be absorbed in the surrounding area We definitely plan to return. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A wonderful experience"
The Cooper House Bed & Breakfast is wonderful! Tey is a wonderful cook and Rob, an attentive waiter. Both are great hosts who are there whenever you need them, but allow you privacy otherwise. It felt like we were staying in a close friends' home. The home and garden are beautifully decorated. We stayed in the Cabernet room which has an attached sitting […] room. Our girls, 5 and 8, stayed in the sitting room in two twin beds. They loved reading by the sunlight coming in through the gorgeous windows opening up into the garden. We highly recommend this "home away from home". Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Cooper House is like going home"
If lounging on the beautiful porch sipping wine, relaxing on our private back deck via candlelight and snoozing in the incredibly comfortable king size bed wasn't enough, Tey, the innkeeper at the Cooper House, wowed us every morning of our stay with THE best breakfast...cooked to order! Tey says, "I hate casserole breakfasts whenever I stay at B&B's […] so I make a point here to serve breakfasts fresh and made to order. It isn't all that much more work, really." And let me tell you, as a guest, you're the recipient of that philosophy. His baked eggs and french toast are particularly scrumptious. My husband said he had never tasted orange juice as creamy and delicious. We stayed in the Chardonnay room with a bathroom right next door which wasn't all that much of a bother. And we had the private deck. Everywhere Tey referred us, from hiking and swimming at Natural Bridges, gold panning with Mike who works out of his place on Main Street in Angels Camp, dinner at Camps at the local golf course, Alchemy in Murphys, to all the winery tastings was spot on. We didn't want to stay at a chain hotel and the Cooper House was perfect. I definitely recommend it and will definitely be back! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great place to stay"
Well. It was a shock for a Brit as there was no key to our room or the bathroom. But once you realise that they have NO CRIME in Angels Camp, you get past that. The room was lovely the bed so so comfortable and our hoasts were there for anything we wanted. Breakfast is something that neither my partner or I normally have but the waffles that we chose […] were so good. I would highly recommend a stay here. "Cooper House - perfect service"
My wife and I were keen to stay somewhere within driving distance of Yosemite and the Big Trees park and Cooper House B&B at Angels Camp seemed like a good spot and got decent reviews, so I went ahead and booked it from the UK. My wife was horrified, never having stayed in a B&B before and preferring the anonymity of a hotel, so when we approached […] Angels Camp we were a little nervous that the 4 nights we'd booked there would need to be endured rather than enjoyed. We needn't have worried though. While Trey and Rob are very attentive and responsive to any requests you have, they allow you to get on with your stay however you wish. It's the perfect blend of feeling looked after without being imposed upon. The relaxed atmosphere, attentive hosts, great garden, superb breakfasts and quirky little town transformed us from being a little hesitant to both deciding it was the perfect location and exactly what we needed after a hectic week in Las Vegas. We were able to visit the Big Trees park one day, Yosemite the next and on the final day rented a boat on the local lake and relaxed all day. The only minus point I think I'd make is the furniture in the room provides fashion over function - it's old and not particularly useful. This wouldn't be an issue for staying a couple nights, but we were in the middle of a big trip and had LOTS of luggage. Having said that, we did have a separate room to put our cases in (adjoining the bedroom), so it was no hardship. If we visit California again (especially to visit some of the amazing vineyards that we missed out on this time), I wouldn't hesitate staying in Cooper House B&B again. We only caught Rob on the first day and he was extremely helpful and informative about the area. Trey looked after us after that and was a complete gem. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
