A good place for business. The breakfast buffet is good. The rooms seem like they may have had some updates in the last 5+ years, but the iron in my room was circa 1980 - I even took a picture of it - really! For the price, it was okay - and very close to my meeting location. The linens were nice and crisp, the drapes and couch looked contemporary enough, but the dressers looked like the vacuum smashed into them over and over for years. I'm picky, so I noticed the grout color vs. the caulking and things like that. It was fine for the price....

Decent service though they did one of keys wrong when we checked in and I had to go all the way to lobby to get new ones. Typical room, with a little wear and tear. Not the plushest place but I guess you get what you pay for. Pretty convenient location if you want to do touristy activities like NASA, Galveston etc Breakfast was decent, nothing fancy. Overall pretty average.

If you like staying at a hotel with hidden fees then this is the hotel for you. I was very upset at the way they had their internet set-up they offer a free day 2 day trial but only offer the lowest internet speed so that you will be forced to upgrade and pay extra. For the amount of money paid I would figure they would have a wi-fi network. I will give them credit for having gates in their parking lot considering the city you are in you need that. Considering this was "The Courtyad" I'd figured they at least would have 32" LCD tvs not true. Also, what is up with the "complimentary water" which has a tag saying if you drink it, it's an additional 2.50. If you are looking just to stay there and do not plan on using any of the facilities then I would recommend it, but if you're on business and need to finish proposals or do some homework on the internet then you better bring extra money with you. Booking with hotels.com however was easy and I would definately do it again

We stayed for two nights and traveled to Galveston each day. The hotel was beautiful and very comforting. The staff was more than friendly and everything was clean. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The hotel may appear to not be in the best of neighborhoods but nice areas are within 5-10 minutes and for the price paid, was more than I could have expected. When we go back we will definitely stay at this hotel if rooms are available.

We stayed two nights at this hotel and were out of our room from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, but our room was not made up or cleaned. At 4 p.m., we asked the front desk for extra towels, which they gave us. (I had already called housekeeping and no one was there.) I also don't like the breakfast where you pay, because most hotels include a free breakfast nowadays. I was recently at a Residence Inn in Paducah, KY and had an excellent breakfast included each day.

The comfort of the room was stuffy because of poor air circulation, but not so bad that one could not sleep well. I generally like to stay where once I'm there I can walk somewhere to eat and not have to do more driving, and that is limited to Taco Cabana, which we like and went to, but would like to be closer to more choices. We did not eat the breakfast buffet - too expenive for the offerings. We stopped just down the street a ways at Dennys and the two of us ate all we could for the price of one buffet at the hotel. A continental breakfast that is included in the proce of the room would be better. The hotel was quiet and the whirlpool was relaxing after the drive.

I was expecting more from a 3 star hotel. I felt that the rooms were outdated and the beds were very uncomfortable. Also, the breakfast was ~$10.95 and the restaurant/bar wasn't open the two days I was there. I could drive to the Denny's across the street and get better food and a waiter for $10.95. The proximity to I-45 and Hobby was nice and the customer service was good. Anyway, overall the hotel was okay, I just felt that you should get more for your money.

This was a great hotel and location, since it is right off Hwy 45. Very clean and better than I was expecting. Be careful about how far south you drive from the hotel, as the surrounding area south of hotel was not the safest part of town. I felt that $10.00/person was a little much for a continental breakfast. Other than that, I was very satisfied and would stay there again.

We were comfortable for the two nights we stayed, the breakfast was not part of the room and was only abit more than continental for ten dollars each, so I thought that was a bit out of line. The breakfast as a seperate charge was not posted and we were caught off guard about the additional costs. The neighborhood is full of strip clubs not next door however. If driving your self for the first time in Houston, it was little difficult to find, we went to the Mariot first and they told us where to go from there (next door basically).

When I was looking for a hotel and reviewing ratings, I was truly afraid of how to choose the right hotel. After choosing this hotel and arriving there, I must say that I was and am still VERY VERY relieved by how great my stay was. The area was quiet, the hotel was so quiet that at times I wondered if I was the only guest. The staff was extremely friendly (I mostly loved the waitress in the restaurant). The only complaint I could possibly have is that the breakfast buffet was to me a little overpriced, but it was delicious. I have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Although, I don't know how more than two people could fit comfortably, it was great for one! Shuttle service from Hobby was a huge plus. Room was clean. The television stations were limited and there was no TV guide to help with channel selection. The hotel also offers a mini-grocery with snacks, drinks, and frozen dinners. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
