Let me change to a double room without a charge at check-in. Arrived earlier in the day, checking in early was not a problem. Had good view of downtown and the Space Needle. Very comfortable, quiet room. Had a small sitting area, closet space, and plenty of hot water. Overall a good experience. I would (and probably will) stay here again.

The hotel itself was fine. However, through some oversight, probably my own, we thought we were staying at the Comfort Inn City Center and we were actually several miles away at the Comfort Inn Seattle. It was far from the things we had planned and the commute was trying. The hotel itself was fine and the people were accommodating.

This hotel was OK, but nothing more. It was a long way from the airport and a bit of a ride to the cruise ship, but it was within walking distance to a number of eateries and stores. There's no shuttle from the airport and it was an expensive cab ride to get there. Nothing special.

We got a room on the 3rd floor. The hallway smelled like they allowed smoking in the hallway. The room did not smell like smoke. The location is both good and bad. Right off of Hwy 99/Aurora Blvd is easy to get to, but the traffic noise can be a bit much. Otherwise room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning is loud and was necessary in our summer visit. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was basic w/ fruit, cereal, breads and waffles. Starbucks close by. I'd rather spend a few more dollars next time to stay somewhere else that was a little bit off the main drag to get a little more peace.

I was in Seattle for medical purposes for my 17 year old daughter and I must say that the staff was very personable and made the stay enjoyable. I liked to security of using your hotel key card to gain access to the the elevator. The maid service was excellent and they were quick and effecient. The price was in line with other hotels in the area, but Comfort Inn was a little cheaper than others. The hotels was in great proximity to grocery stores, restuarants and shopping malls. The location was great and close to the I-5 which is where we needed to be for airport access and doctor's office. We stayed for 3 nights and that king size bed was wonderful. If I could have taken the mattress, I would have back to Alaska with us on the airplane. I don't think I would have been able to get that through security. We are supposed to come back in about three months if my daughter needs to for medical purposes and I know exactly where I will be sleeping...Comfort Inn!

There are 2 downfalls for this hotel. 1) the parking spaces are small and I felt like my car would be towed or vandalized. 2) My floor and room were non smoking yet it smelled of heavy smoking. If I knew about just these 2 issues, I would have paid more and went to a different hotel.

The hotel overall was nice. The location was excellent. Convenient to shopping etc. However, this is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel and each time the noise level from the other rooms is unbearable. This time we had the king suite and even though it was farther away from other rooms, we got woken up by people at 3 am screaming out in the hall way until 6am. I also had 3 different people knock on my door due to the receptionist making a mistake. Overall, not too bad but noisy at times.

If you asked for a smoking room don't expect to get it. I asked for one and when I checked in they gave me a non-smoking room and I had to sign a contract saying if there were any signs of smoking I would have to pay a $125 deep cleaning fee. If I disagreed then I wouldn't be allowing to check in. They said there were only 5 or six smoking rooms in the hotel. Aside from that the free breakfast was excellent.

It would have been 15 in a smellier room. Our no smoking room smelled strongly of smoke, but was adequately clean.

No problems with this place except that it's right "on the strip" on Aurora. Which also means it's right down the way from an Albertsons and a few family restaurants, etc. And there's free parking, and a continental breakfast (no fruit at all though.) Fine for a night or two and a couple of minutes off the freeway. The staff was pleasant and changed my room without hesitation when I couldn't get an internet connection.
