The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The nicest hotel we stayed at in our two week trip in Europe.

The rooms were very comfortable, and the best thing we loved about the hotel was its location. It is right across the Huapbahauff station, due to which it was very easy to access trains/ taxis/busses! We had a splendid stay at the hotel, and a very comfortable stay in Munich due to easy access to transport.

What a lovely hotel. We stayed for 3 nights on our first trip to Munich. Come out of the station by the left hand door and there it is across the street. What a joy not to be staying in a chain hotel, but one where the staff really seem to care. They have great advice, and don't overlook that they can sell you tickets for the metro/trams so saving you the queue and any confusion at a ticket counter. Rooms clean and quiet with a nice bathroom.

The Eden Wolf is very convenient to the Munich HBh. I got off my train and was at the hotel lobby in minutes. My single room was small, but very well organized and decorated in a modern, minimalist style. I don't know what the double rooms are like, but the single was just fine for 1 person staying 4 nights. The tram stop was just outside the hotel and I was at the Theater Street stop within minutes and at the Neues Rathaus after a 3 minute walk. Most of the time I just walked into town (about 10 minutes) but it was good to know that it was so easy to get to the hotel by S-Bahn/U-Bahn in case of bad weather. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has a great location, especially if you traveling to Munich by train. The trains station is just across the street. It is also easily accessed by public transportation (S-bahn) from the airport. The room was very comfortable and clean. The restaurant is very good for dinner. The breakfast buffet is very good, although pricey at 17 Euros. All of Munich's public transportation is easily accessed just out the front door. You can easily, quickly and economically reach any tourist site by using the public transportation system or walking from here. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Ask for a room away from the front of the building to minimize street noise.

This hotel is directly across from the central train station (Hauptbahnhof), international train access. Of course the atmosphere around the central station is not the best (in any European large city), however compared to the south side of the station where there are many hotels, the north side feels less crowded and more secure. I strongly recommend people who will be traveling by train in Europe through Munich. I was very impressed with their service, not only friendly, but also very helpful. The room was very clean... especially the bathroom. The fitness room was great.

Even though I was assured at check-in that the second floor room was quiet, it was anything but...I could hear traffic noise all night long. This is not a hotel where you come for luxury...you stay here if you have to catch a train the next morning. I came late around 11 pm on a weekday and there was nothing to eat at the hotel. The bartender suggested that I go look for food in the train station. On the positive side, the hotel was clean and people were polite.

This hotel was luxurious for the money. All of the hotel desk clerks that I had contact with were proficient in English. Since it is across from the main train station, it was quick and easy to get an affordable snack, a quick set of funds (through the ATM), or a quick hop onto the S-Bahn or U-Bahn to get into the city center. The room was spacious (considering it is in Europe) and was fresh and clean each day. If you have a room facing the street, though, be aware that you will hear the constant sounds of the city (which I don't mind), although closed windows do drown out most of it. I visited in late July, so the weather was quite warm (mid-80s), but the air-conditioning unit operated well. When I visit Munich once again, I will be booking a room in this hotel.

We were there 3 nights and had to change rooms the last two nights. We should have changed the first night but were too tired. The air conditioner made a clicking sound every 4 or 5 minutes. The staff gave us another room the second night while they repaired the AC. It did not click the third night, but the AC then developed a leak which soaked our bag and our clothes. So they moved us to another room. This room was better but the AC in that room also made a clicking sound every 4-5 minutes. Although the clicking sound was softer than the first room, it still kept us awake all night. The staff were fine and helpful but we were too exhausted and disgusted to deal with it anymore and left the hotel the next morning as soon as we could.

In addition, on the top floor, they had a terrace, a steam room, sauna, tanning bed, and excercise room. We were there to take in as much of the city as we could, but we also found time to relax in the hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights with a 2 year old. The room was in excellent condition and huge by European standards. You can't beat the location. It's right next to the main train station so you can take a train from the airport and only walk like a half a block with all your luggage to the hotel. After you check in you can hop back on the S or U-Bahn and it's a 2 minute train ride to Karlsplatz and Marienplatz! It wasn't especially kid friendly, but I've never come across a hotel that really was. The big room and proximity to the main attractions were the things that helped us concentrate more on keeping our son content. Plus there are many playgrounds spread out around the city (even at the beer gardens!), just keep your eyes open. I would definitely stay here again.
