Very clean room, I showed up at 2:45 they made me wait until 3:20 before they would check me in, and the last thing I wanted to do was wait after a 5 hour drive.

I was hoping that this would be an okay stay for me but it wasn't. Check in was at 3 and I was asked to come back TWICE due to my room not being ready. When I went back the second time the room I requested was still not available. So around 5:30pm I was placed in a room that was totally opposite of what I requested. The next morning (without requesting […] it) we get a knock on the door asking if we are staying hours before check out. How nice that u can come before time to try to put me out but it takes TWO HOURS for my room to be ready. If anything I feel I should have been allowed a late check out just for what I went through. The offer about breakfast is a joke. All they have is coffee and muffins. I was there all weekend, had to throw my own trash & change my own sheets. If I wanted to do that I would've stayed home.

I checked into this hotel on February 5 for one night. It took the receptionist, a young man in his early 20s, 15 minutes to find my information, print 4 pages of information and give me the key to my room. Even though I'd asked him to give me a room far from the freeway, he gave me the closest room to the freeway. I went back to the office and once […] again asked for a room farther from the freeway. He said he didn't have any other rooms. When I insisted, his tone turned angry and rude. I went back to the room and couldn't sleep because of all the noise from the freeway, the loud TV next door, and the dripping faucet in the bathroom. I went back to the office and told the receptionist about the problems with the room and asked once again very politely to change my room. Again, he said no. At the same time, he was assigning rooms to others. When I brought this up, he said that they had reservations. I reminded him that I too had reserved the room. He said, "And that's way I gave you a room." I asked him if I could talk to someone else about fixing the dripping faucet or chaning the room, and he said he was the only one there. Meh. While the room appeared to have been renovated within the past couple of years and was clean, the outdoor areas were less clean and several trash cans were overflowing with items that hotel residents left for pickup. (The front desk staff was very clear when I checked in that the rooms would only be cleaned once per week for longer-term guests--I […] noticed a comment that someone was upset that their room was not cleaned each day). I appreciated having a kitchenette with working and clean microwave and refrigerator, and also an ironing board/iron and free wifi. Located near an Outback Steakhouse and an Olive Garden but not much else. My room directly overlooked the interstate freeway and beyond that to some sort of oil or gas facility about a mile away. It was an okay place to crash for a couple of nights for the price, but that's as far as I'd go. Read more

The hotel was nice for an Extended Stay America. It had a kitchenette if you would like to cook. There was on site parking and wifi. There was no elevator for people on the second or third floor. The hotel was decorated decently and it did not look outdated. The cleanliness over all was not bad however the carpet had some stains on it and the comforter […] had some stains on it. We just took the comforter off the bed. The location was about 15 minute drive from downtown without traffic (good luck). There were plenty of restaurants around the area. The staff was not that friendly or accommodating. There was a woman in front of us that was TAKING FOREVER and the staff did not apologize about this problem. They also had no information about Dallas at all. Our hotel room key did not work which was annoying because we were a bit far from the office on the third floor. Manger is a classic bully. The subordinate staff are terrified of him. He overlooked/ misplaced my reservation. When he finaly reLized and corrected his mistake, he suggested i change my procedure concerning reservations. I was offered no alology. I wish i had more hands. If economy is your main objective, then this is the place. They have a small kitchen area, but it is servicable. I would think the dishwasher could be replaced with some cabinet area for food and there could be more kitchen cookware, dishes etc. The bed is the worst part. If someone stays at least 3 days they should have their room. That was the only problem with me. I had a room for 7 days and not one time was I asked for towels or tissue. Not once was I asked for anything. But the office staff Amy and Michelle was very helpful and pleasant.

Good value for the price. Older carpeting and furniture/decorations/TV. Bathroom had a few bugs in the shower and obvious patches in the wall/ceiling. Room had no oven, which we didn't anticipate when we brought our own food to bake. We had to wait an hour for him to arrive in a huff and basically angry at us and the three other couples waiting to be checked in.
