The hotel was very nice but our room was shabby. In addition, it was very loud above us. When I called the front desk to try and see about it the woman was extremely rude to me. She was going to call them and tell them to be quiet which might have meant they would have been upset at us. The noise subsided at night but the woman's handling of it meant […] we will not return. Excellent, as always. We arrived as Storm Nemo went up the east coast; it was cold and raining hard. We arrived to a blazing fire. After dropping our bag off, we returned to the lounge to sit by the fire and read. I had a wonderful facial with Tabitha Hall. We had a very good experience staying here for our anniversary in early November. The hotel lobby is very warm and welcoming with it library and fireplace. The included breakfast was very convenient. We were in a garden room, and the room itself was nothing special. The garden was very nice and the bed was comfortable. A lot comes down to expectations and choices. I suppose I expected better for the price. The towels were nice and the breakfast was OK. Obviously we saved some money by having breakfast there. There were ants in the room and the hotel […] offered to move us but it really wasn't a big deal so we stayed. I did wonder whether I would have preferred staying at Fager's Island in Ocean City, but the convenience of all the restaurants in Rehobeth was more important for us. We've visited the Bellmoor three times now, and each time it's a shame to have to leave. The secluded atmosphere is immediately relaxing, and the rooms and staff make you feel at home. My only complaint is the price - if it wasn't so expensive I could visit for longer. But I guess that's the price you have to pay for quality!

I don't have a single negative thing to say about this hotel. For what you got, the price is extremely competitive for the area. The staff are extremely friendly, the rooms were well maintained, the hotel itself was gorgeously decorated, the complimentary breakfast was better than any I've ever had. But for me, the pièce de résistance was the beds. […] I cannot tell you the number of beds I've slept on in otherwise AMAZING hotels that had scratchy blankets or uncomfortable pillows or lumpy mattresses. The Bellmoor had none of that. The pillows were firm but soft, the mattresses were forgiving but not broken and the the sheets were nice and comfy. Loved it. The visit was great but the morning breakfast service was slow for the special request items. Only one chef doing 4-5 requests at one time. This was changed since our last visit. The prepared items on the breakfast choices were very good. We just missed our eggs with our hotcakes. Staff were pleasant and helpful and parking was convenient.

Very loud at night in the courtyard rooms, and it wasn't necessarily loud conversations -- we could hear every cough of another guest in an adjacent room. I rarely complain and was disappointed by the fact that, while the room and adjacent property was nice, it was hard to sleep because someone was coughing normally in another room.

The wicker sete and table in the porch facing the garden was our favorite as was the library. Staff easily arranged another night for us. The village and beach front were a short walk away. And in conclusion..... This hotel was nice but in the day we were there we had a few issues. 1. Bed was hard as a rock 2. Our room had a nice view of the roof. I would think off season they would have rooms without completely restricted views. All we could see was the roof of the hotel entrance. 3. We only really dealt with the breakfast employees. […] the omelet guy literally asked everyone their order 3 times. Of course you can't expect a lot from a guy with a neck tattoo.
