Secluded on a private beach along the Kona-Kohala Coast, the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is 7 mi (11 km) from the Kona International Airport and 21 mi (34 km) from the Holualoa Village. The Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is 99 mi (159 km) away.

Guests of this Four Seasons Resort can dine at the 2 beachfront restaurants or golf clubhouse restaurant and enjoy drinks and ocean views at the 2 lounges. 2-story bungalows at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai house the 243 guestrooms, which feature furnished lanais with ocean, golf course or garden views. Plasma televisions with cable channels and entertainment centers with DVD/CD players are available in living areas. Wireless high-speed Internet access is complimentary.
Deep soaking bathtubs and separate glass-enclosed showers are standard in the granite bathrooms. Rooms also include coffee/tea makers, bottled water, refreshed daily, and clock radios with MP3 docks. Housekeeping is offered twice daily and an aromatherapy turndown service is provided each evening.

"Great luxury resort for families and adults"
Simply perfect as a place where adults can relax and children can have fun. We stayed 6 nights in october 2012, and I recommend the time of year because it was so quiet and relaxed at the resort, even despite the Ironman Triathlon taking place along the main highway outside. King's Pond is amazing -- 75 different kinds of fish in a brackish natural […] pond that you can snorkel in. Our 7yo absolutely loved it. "the best resort on Hawaii"
Having just completed a four-island tour of Hawaii, we were thrilled to have capped our stay at the Kona Four Seasons. The resort is a very short drive from the Kona airport and is just past a gated entrance that helps keep the resort private and secluded. The attention of the staff is phenomenal. From the golf cart tour of the property upon our arrival […] to the extremely high quality of the room cleaning and turn-down service, we could not have been happier. The bed was extremely comfortable, the infinity pool was spectacular, and the resort is well situated on the west side of the island for epic sunsets each night. The beach was a bit on the rocky side for our liking, but the quality of the pools more than made up for it. I recommend either of the beachside restaurants. Although I thought the service could have been a bit quicker at times, the facilities were comfortable and the food was excellent. The breakfast buffet each morning was also a highlight. It was very easy to let ourselves get pampered at this resort, and we had absolutely no desire to leave during our three night stay.
