not satisfied the temperature in San Antonio was 80 - 83 degree the air conditioner in room didn't blow enough cool air to cool off the room. The room was furnished with old broken furniture. "Terrible Customer Service"
I paid for my daughter and sister to stay in the Howard Johnson hotel for my daughter's birthday. The room had a broken towel rod and burned out light bulbs. When I called the front desk to have those things fixed, I was rudely told by Carlos there was nothing he could do and I would have to wait til the morning. I was also told there were no other […] rooms to change to. I called Hotels.com to press a complaint. After a brief hold, the rep from Hotels.com told me to return to the front desk and we would be changed to another room. There were no further issues. However, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was not properly prepared for guests, it never should have been released to guests. Carlos was so rude, I would hate for anyone else to experience his nastiness. I have stayed in hotels around the world for business and pleasure and I have never experienced this type of unpleasantness. I am still in disbelief regarding the atay. Our room was fine however the neighborhood was run down and we were concerned about our car overnight. Notices posted on all the outside doors from local police warning about breakin's, outside "security" doors were not closing properly. Tried to use the outdoor pool and the heaters were out.
