Weathertop Mountain Inn

The Inn was wonderful. It was very quaint and comfortable. The owners, Mike and Lisa were friendly and fun hosts. It was an unexpected delight in the hills of Vermont.

My husband and I were impressed with the Weathertop Mountain Inn. Our room was called the "Sinclair Lewis Room" and was beautifully decorated and comfy. We loved this Inn. It was very cozy, welcoming and set to up relax and have fun. The game room has a fantastic setup that facilities bonding and a good time. The Inn is well kept and we had a wonderful time. Each of the rooms has a different theme. The room was extremely comfortable with excellent storage and closets. Mike cooks a wonderful breakfast. The common areas are very comfortable. Their is a game room upstairs. I only wish they had a TV in each room

Weathertop Mountain Inn is hosted by Mike and Lisa, who are very accessible and welcoming and can give info about travel near and far. Their gracious B & B has many different spaces for different tastes. There are many thoughtful touches, such as an in-room fridge, really nice soaps, and a pair of bathrobes in each room. There is plenty of space for […] coats and clothes. Breakfast is good, with choices for ominvores, vegetarians, and vegans. We didn't have a chance to eat dinner at the Inn, but it smelled delicious. My favorite room was the Great Room, with a fire in a large stone fireplace, drums, a 12-string guitar, piano, and an Asian instrument I don't know the name of. Not to be missed is the 4-person hot tub/jacuzzi with lights and adjustable jets and bubbles. The Inn is decorated with a lot of interesting objects and pictures collected by the hosts on their trips to Asia. It is located near the historic portion of Waitsfield, VT with nearby restaurants from casual/pub/pizza to more upscale, good coffee places, and many artisanal shops. We enjoyed watching glass blowing and visits to Waitsfield Pottery. We had several very good dinners out. All in all a really pleasant and relaxing place to stay for skiing or other local activities. This lovely place is run by a husband and wife who have fixed it up, put their personalities into the decorating, and provide helpful advice and delicious meals for their guests. The rooms have modern amenities and the inn also has a library, pool table, game room, spa, and sauna. Very nice!

Gourmet cooking at it's best, wine selection fantastic, prices very reasonable! The house is very comfortable and the common areas are equipped with the best stereo, flat screen TVs and overall comfort! It was great!

I've been going to Waitsfield, VT with my family for years but once I got older I wanted to go on my own. I booked this Inn for a romantic weekend get away and it was my first experience with a B&B type of place. It was more than I had hoped! The owners (an amazingly sweet, super interesting couple) were awesome and the garden was gorgeous. The two […] cats that hang out at the Inn are really sweet. We stayed in the Morgan Room and not only was it perfect and had the most comfortable bed ever known, we loved reading about the history of the room. Every little detail in the room, and the other rooms such as the lounge and game room etc were superb. There were even little journals where you could write about your experience there and leave inspirational quotes to other guests. The lounge was awesome with really unique instruments, a television and games. The Game Room had a pool table, foozball, darts, a small library and every possible game board imaginable. We really had a lot of fun playing pool! The owners offer breakfast and dinner and we sadly did not join in but from what we heard it was apparently amazing as well. The whole atmosphere was incredible and gave off the best vibes. We will definitely be staying there again in the future! Read more

We stayed at Weathertop Inn for few days, and I must admit I haven't expected it to be that good. That place is quite unique - maintained by a couple, very nice and cozy, everything is so neat and clean, rooms are comfortable and breakfast they server, oh man, that's probably the best homemade breakfast I ate in VT.
