"Paradise where you least expect it"
Great hotel! doesnt look like much from the outside (its between a car dealership and an IHOP) but it is definitely a hidden gem. Great room. Top of the line accessories. Enjoyed room, wonderful bed and pillows. Great pool area with lots of mature landscaping, beautiful vegetation. Not sure why they started the pool music daily at about 8 am. "Great pool area."
The hotel was pretty much as advertised. The rooms were a little worn, but very clean. Plenty of pillows, the beds were a little firm for my taste, but over all very comfortable. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. The pool area was just as beautiful as the pictures. The location wasn't bad, the construction on north Roosevelt made it a little difficult […] coming back to the hotel. We ate at the stoned crab which was with in walking distance from the hotel. It was an excellent experience and the food was outstanding. We met the owner who was very nice and gave us some good tips on key west. In any case, there are many food choices with in walking distance from the hotel and even a Publix grocery and a movie theater. I would recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again. Was a very comfortable relaxing visit to the city. The hotel was comfortable and restful enjoyed sitting out at the pool, the bar, the restaurant. Made my time in Key West all the better. Hotel services were accommodating and desired to make my visit good. Room was on first floor overlooking a parking lot. Construction of the road in front of the hotel requires a nearly 10 mile trip around the island to get back to the hotel from the downtown. "Old but renovated"

"Nice pool and gardens"
The pool and gardens were truly large and lovely. There was a pleasant waterfall, beach sand surrounding the pool in places, and quiet places to sit. Also a large tiki bar. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The only discouraging sight was of left over cans and bottles from the night before still on the deck around 9am. No staff seemed to be picking […] up or cleaning out the numerous leaves from the pool. I also noticed some maintenance that was needed such as stair treads and rails. Not located in the Bachanalian part of Key West, but that's not all bad. Good place if you have a car to get around. The pool was a wonderful place to hang out for hours. I was very disappointed regarding the location of the hotel...on a very busy highway under construction. The website misrepresented the location, making it appear on the bay. It was not! Room was much smaller than imagined with no view what-so-ever. On the positive side, there was a lovely cafe for breakfast. We were under the impression that the hotel is right on the water. Well there is a highway in between the water and the hotel. The road was under construction which didn't help, and we weren't thrilled with the surrounding hotels and restaurants. Upon our arrival we were disappointed, but we walked in and we were impressed with the lobby and the helpful staff... However, when we saw our room, we were very upset.. The ro itself was good enough, but the outside catwalk entrance was awful.. Facing the street and I hop next door... Noisy with motorcycles coming and going all night..much to our dismay,we […] were informed the next day, that we could have upgraded to a ro in the main hotel for just 20.00... The hotel was nice and the pool/landscaping was very nice. This was a girls get away vacation and when I booked the hotel I requested 2 queen beds. The beds were NOT queen but full sized beds. "We could walk to supper, store when we need"

"Quiet resort outside of busy downtown"
We stayed at the Inn at Key West on a 2-day trip through the Keys. Everything about the hotel was great, except that the location was quite a ways from the downtown area. It is about a 10-minute drive, or $15-20 cab ride to Duval street/heart of downtown Key West. Parking downtown is very limited and expensive, so it would have been nice to stay somewhere […] within walking distance. But if you are looking to relax around a beautiful pool, this is the place to stay. The Inn is located in a quiet area across the street from the sea, and the staff is very accommodating to recommend various activities or day trips in the area. Hotel was very nice, pool was wonderful: best part of the stay. But i didn't realize it was as far from Old Town as it was. Far to expensive for the quality of service and condition of the hotel. Room was very small. Did not get room service at all on one day and poor service on others. "Fantastic!"
The room was wonderful. But just one flaw. One of the beds did not have comforter and we didn't realize it until morning. The person sleeping in the bed with out the comforter just thought that was what you get, a sheet. So she was cold. "the inn at key west - Feb vacation"
the hotel was fine. for the most part the staff was nice and the pool was awesome. about 3 miles from downtown. The room we had was spacious. we had a car rental so it was no problem to go into downtown everyday.. 2 things - #1 - we stayed in the back area and it seems that the walls are paper thin. EVERy night - we can hear people coming and going […] at all hours of the night (including one screaming match between a drunk couple!). #2 - for 2 days the hotel "forgot" to clean our room - with 3 people in 1 room - it gor messy pretty quick. after the 2nd day of complaining VERY loudly to staff - it got cleaned and they gavve us a complimentary breakfast. (we pigged out and the bill came to $57....) that was fine and they apologized a lot about not cleaning the room in 2 days. I would stay there again but get a room upfront. We had read some good reviews and were not disappointed - the location was great, the property was nice and clean.
