    The Sebel Heritage Yarra Valley
Although it was a little off the beaten path, it is a beautiful property. Located just at the door to Yarra Valley Wine Country, the drive along the back county roads to the wineries is spectacular. We were given a handicap accessible room, that was not required, without being told. The staff was friendly and very helpful with maps and directions. The lounge had a great local wine selection and a wonderful food menu, I would recommend the three cheese selection! We ordered room service for breakfast which was by far the least expensive room service I've ever encountered in my life! Our last night we ate in the dining room and had a completely horrible experience. We waited over and hour for our entree's and when we tried to get an explanation the server avoided us and sent over a different server. We spoke to the manager, but she was not very helpful and only offered to buy us dessert, which we didn't want. One of our entree's was barely warm and overcooked, but after waiting so long we didn't want to wait for a substitution. Overall, a beautiful place with friendly staff - just stay away from the dining room!...More
