Daydream Island Resort & Spa
This resort is rated 4 1/2 stars, but we didn't receive what we expected from a resort rated so high. We understand @ resorts, the meals are usually smaller portions for a high price, but sadly, the food was very mediocre and not worth it's cost, but b/c you're on an island, that's the only thing to eat. The resort itself, it's grounds, and the activities it offers is pleasant, but more worth a daytrip for what you pay for once you get on the island. And definitely geared towards the family and not toward a young couple. But on a very high note, sing praises to the staff and their efforts-what a wonderful group of young people who made the resort!...More

Daydream Island Resort & Spa
Relaxing spa, tons of family activities and helpful staff. Only complaint would be restrictions to mediocre resort foods....More

Long Island
I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were upgraded to ocean view, which was really nice. They use a lot of insecticides because we found a lot of dead bugs in our room by the doors and windows. The room itself was just average. Our included meals were just average. We enjoyed the kayaks, which were free. We loved the walks around the island that were nearby on Long Island. There are lots of animals around the resort that are fun to look at. We loved feeding the rainbow lorikeets and fish by the jetty. That was awesome. We were at the hotel during the rainy season, and there's not a whole lot to do when it's raining. They have some board games, most of which are missing many pieces. We had hoped to take more day trips, but they were cancelled due to bad weather. I would suggest going to this hotel when it's not cyclone season....More
