While this isn't a 4 star hotel, it had some amenities that were wonderful! The pool for the kids was great. The staff was overly accomodating. They even lent us towels for the beach - all we did was ask. There is laundry facilities on-site. While the hotel is off of the beaten path, all of the tours arranged to pick up & drop off here. There's a McDonalds just a few hundred feet away & a GREAT fish restaurant in a shopping plaza also within walking distance. Our only real complaint was that the mattress in our room needed to be replaced as it was officially past its prime. ALL of the other amenities more than made up for it & the price couldn't be beat. The service was excellent- the staff does whatever it takes to make people comfortable. Rooms are not at all fancy, but certainly comfortable. Beautiful pool area. Not really central to sites, but most tours pick up at hotel....More
