Fiesta Americana Veracruz
The hotel property is outstanding, service was great, food and beverage prices were reasonable for the level of quality. Pool is large and never felt crowded. Staff was very friendly, most spoke some English, which was helpful. Beds were comfortable, and rooms were On the down side, the beach is not the fine white sand I would have expected with the Gulf of Mexico so we swam in the pool most of the time. There was also some construction taking place on the property next door. Overall we had a great time, and I would stay here again....hopefully soon....More

Fiesta Americana Veracruz
Overall this hotel is a good value and *looks* nice from the outside but once we got inside, the ceiling was ripped and missing many tiles. Also the main fountain was leaking and turned off at some points. And to top it all off, the towel rack in my room was completely empty when I checked in. To be fair, they did run up some towels (warm ones even) 5 minutes after I called....More

Gran Hotel Diligencias
The hotel feels Grand, elegant and we felt welcome by the staff. The food at the Restaurant Villa Rica (not sure of the correct name)on the main floor offered us a wonderful seafood meal featuring local cuisine, and fresh seafood. Our waiter Pablo was outstanding and very professional. He pampered us and gave us great service. We came back after dinner for an appetizer and drinks and got an enjoyable serenade by 3 local Jarocho musicians. The location across from the main square was ideal as there was live entertainment Jarocho style that we thoroughly enjoyed. When we went to sleep, the windows provided us with a peaceful, restful night...we could not hear any of the noise from the activities outside at the main square/plaza. We will come again to the Grand Hotel Diligencias the next time we're in Veracruz and we'll recommend it to our family and friends. Great value too!...More
