    Barcelo Maya Colonial Beach All Inclusive
    We had an awesome time at this beautifully decorated first class hotel. It was very clean and had lush gardens. The only downfall was I got a bacterial infection our 2nd nite & my daughter the 4th nite. In spite of that it was a good time especially for my husband and son. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The buffet was good and the ala carte restaurants were excellent. We went to the Seafood and Japanese. I wish I could have eaten but it took me a week to totally recover. I don't blame the hotel,it's the chance you take when you travel to other countries. In other reviews we read some people complained about the beds and pillows. This couldn't have been further from the truth. I bought a travel pillow and didn't need it. We had extra pillows and pads on the beds. The best advice was to bring a large travel mug to keep drinks cold. We did walk a lot as the resort is huge. They put the water toys way down the beach of the Tropical or Beach resorts. We stayed at the Colonial so it wasn't convenient. My family sailed, snorkeled and kayaked. There were fun activities going on all the time. The shows were entertaining. Some better than others. What a great value....More

    Omni Puerto Aventuras Beach Resort
    Our ocean view room was amazing! The room was very large with an amazing patio. The patio had a hot tub, hammock, and love seat. Security is a priority there, no one will bother or solicit you. The hotel is in a private gated golf community that has small shops, places to eat, and it housed the area that you can Swim with the Dolphins. The beaches were great for snorkeling and swimming. Cave diving, the ruins at Telum, and Playa Del Carmen are all less than a 20-30 minute drive. BE WARNED! You need to rent a car! The taxi is about $40 one way to Playa del Carmen, the busses are tollerable, but it is a long walk from the drop off to your room. Also, there are many kids at the hotel!...More

    Omni Puerto Aventuras Beach Resort
    When we arrived they did not have our reservation registered, and did not want to believe us, until I proved I had it. After that, everything costs you! Not such thing as All inclusive, but nothing! And how expensive!! Eating there is three times what you pay in the town! Think about that when you decide going there. Besides that, the hotel is beautiful and well cared....More
