The hotel is awesome and if a great place to stay as a hotel. There really isn't anything wrong with it except for its location to the city center. I read all the other reviews and thought that the reviewers were just being lazy and they didn't feel like walking... but the truth of the matter is that this hotel is really out of the way of everything. It's about ten minutes walking distance from some local supermarkets and other little convenience stores, and it's about a 25-30 min walk to the train station that'll take you to the city; and the train ride takes about 20 minutes to get into the main touristic parts of the city anyways! This hotel is a great deal money wise, and it is an extrememly comfortable place to stay, but due to its location, it isn't worth it. The gym is nice. It has a lot of equipment to stay in shape. It has different weight machines as well as a treadmill, and two different type of stationary bikes. The gym also has two raquetball courts! I didn't use the pool since I went during the winter. The breakfast is pretty good. It has some cultural servings of the Spanish Tortilla (Tortilla de Patatas as it's referred to in Spain), differnt kinds of sausage (like chorizo and longhizo (sp?)), some cold cuts, a selection of fruit, cereal, and breads and pastries. It's a pretty decent meal considering that it's buffet style but the thing the hotel doesn't tell you is that the breakfast costs 12 Euros per meal. The room is pretty cozy. I liked it. Plus, the little fridge in it helped a lot with keeping milk and other groceries I would get from the stores in the city. The bathroom is really luxurious. It's pristine and beautiful! Just make sure to bring your own shampoo. Overall, my stay was great! The only convenience I really would have enjoyed a lot more is the location of the hotel being so far off from the city....More

The Hotel was very nice regardless of the price! Free parking makes sense to rent a car.The distance however made it expensive to commute to the airport by taxi.too long to commute by public transportation!! It would be great if one was staying for a week or more and prefers to be far away from the tourist district where shopping is cheaper and food & dining is better at a resonable rate. You get to know more of the real Barcelona&its people....More
